AKM311
We only overpaid if the talent doesn't work out. If they work out, as expected, then the critics will say that we paid them market. I agree in hindsight you can look at anyone like that. But I think lots can agree we did overpay for AA. Now he could be amazing and shifts to become market price. But AT THE TIME, we did overpay. But to me it does not matter as long as we have someone monitoring out Salary Cap. Which Mr. Snyder is a genius at, apparently.
dallasfanforlife
You need to go back and look yourself. Try one of the last three years. 03-Dallas 04 Both sucked, but Dallas was higher due to the tie-breaker. Skins drafted 9th Dallas 11th. 05- Skins 2 of 3. jnhay
They praise the Eagles for getting rid of Owens, and praise the Cowboys for picking him up... I don't see what's wrong with that. TO and the Eagles had problems while TO and the Cowboys don't.

Pssst, tie breakers are used to determine playoff teams. 6-10 is 6-10 is 6-10. Are you really that desperate that you have to try to go to tiebreakers on a 6-10 team to say you finished ahead? Weak.

81+83+84=Posse
If you read the whole thing it says this about Miami- "You also can't overlook the addition of two new coordinators (Mike Mularkey on offense and Dom Capers on defense). Head coach Nick Saban has arguably the best coaching staff in football." Seriously? Gibbs, Saunders, Williams, Bugel aren't better?

You're counting the tie breaker when we were both 6-10?!?  Personally, the only thing that matters to me is what's happened between Gibbs and Parcells. Before them, both of these franchises were in the middle of lengthy, post SB dominance ruts. We haven't been the same since Gibbs left and really, the boys haven't been much to speak of for the last 10 years or so, either. So far as I see it, this year is a new era. Gibbs and Tuna are 2-2, both teams loaded up big time, the coaching staffs are firmly entrenched and have their rosters full of their kind of guys and both are expecting a run at the trophy this year. Given that, I could give two ****s about what happened between two sorry teams a couple years ago. It's on for real again, like it was and like it always should be. I wouldn't want Dallas to be ****ty, I'm loving the current direction of the rivavlry and wouldn't have it any other way. Oh, and besides, if you want to look at previous years, just look at head to head playoff game records

dallasfanforlife
why do you guys get stuck on TO. So you all can't understand how philly can benifit from losing TO and Dallas can improve with TO? Is there something that skin fans as a whole drink that makes you stupid or is it just a natural progression of life as a Skin fan? Some players do leave teams to go to other teams...those players can help the teams they goto, and the teams that get rid of them can benifit.......its not that hard to understand really. Eternal_Cowboy
Cleveland, Atlanta, Arizona & Washington had the best offseasons, according to SI (All A's). In all fairness though, these are the teams that supposedly win every offseason. I can't remember the last time Washington and Atlanta werent the top 2 or 3 most improved teams in the offseason. It's all about what happens on the field.

kevinklein
What Went Wrong: They overpaid for some of these guys, especially Randle El and strong safety Adam Archuleta. But that's never bothered Dan Snyder before. Translation: What Went Wrong: Nothing, really.

It's no different than Dallas fans getting stuck on "You guys win every offseason." And no matter how you meant it, calling us all stupid isn't a good way to go about being welcome here. Eternal_Cowboy
Not much of it in the last 15 years, no. But lately, certainly. Not much of it ever. Dallas leads the All-time series by nearly 20 games. That's dominance in the NFL.

I would be a fool to do so. However, we've beaten you twice lately. Lately being last year. :whoknows: I suppose it all depends on how you interpret the time frame of "lately".
