Pittman Running Over ST?

Ummmmmmmmmmmm...never seen it happen, and if it did he tackled or took out the other player going down. I think most of us have seen 75% or more (replayed over and over again) of every play he's been "in" on and I have never seen him get "run over"...NEVER!

HTTR!

theres a video of it on youtube.com but he was a freshman and greg jones is a beast....probably the last time it happened ever.

Why is this discussion about Greg Jones? Yea i'll admit even though he came from the college I DESPISE that he's a bruiser and lays some big hits....but what has he done in the NFL besides settle for backup?

It's not about Greg Jones. It's about Taylor getting run over by Pittman (not a fact). Then other posts rambled on about how taylor never gets run over. And we've now stated a time that we did see it

I don't think that he ran over ST. They hit but Pittman still landed forward. And ST hit him from the side. That doesn't count as being ran over.

This is correct. Pittman fell forward over ST but ST made the tackle. I can remember it happened about 10 yards from the line of scrimmage in the middle of the field. I can't remember what game it was.

Here is a visual.....Got 'Roids?(sorry mcb4 for using your pic..)

Oh, and Greg Jones is in Jacksonville where he's been since he was drafted. Anyway, he's listed at 6-1 250.

yes, i believe they were playing FSU and the running back was greg jones.

You're video linked to another one: it has nothing to do with ST, but it's amazing. Greg Jones just manhandles this guy:

. I've never seen a runningback hit like that.

Let me help everyone out since there have been identical posts like 6 times on this thread.

It has been decided pittman never ran over st.

Greg Jones is now at Jacksonville. He got quite a few touches last season when Fred Taylor was hurt,

yes, we've seen the Greg Jones truck stick he throws against UNC.

Thank you.

It was the playoff game and it was actually a 22 yard gain. Pittman caught a dump pass over the middle and ran uncontested before he was tackled by Taylor. Taylor was off to the side and Pittman had all the momentum but Pittman in no way ran over Taylor. It wasn't a normal bonecrushing hit by Taylor but it was effective. You can see a replay of the play if you go to nfl.com and click on that game on the Redskins or Bucs schedule.

Guys Im a HUGE Sean Taylor fan. BUT, when he was a freshman at Miami he got ran over....

He was young then, hes much better now...

EDIT:: The guy above me posted link as I was making my post

Yea he was a freshman. The funny thing is Dallas fans keep pointing that out. They dont have anything in the NFL because it hasnt happened yet.

On the other hand, Roy Williams, who Cowboys fans claim is the hardest hitter in the NFL, got absolutely owned by little Chris Brown of the Titans!

:applause:

Pittman is a coward. The only person he could run over is his wife, which he has already done on occassion. There's no way he could handle a real man like Sean Taylor. The thing I remember now about that game is how he took a swing at Taylor's head and then took a step back to get behind the ref. You would think that he would have gone at Taylor, but no, it was jab and slide and please Mr. Ref get between us. I repeat, Pittman is a coward. I so wish they were coming to Washington this year.
