joeknows
Williams has said in his interviews and even in his chat with Extremeskins last year that he doesnt usually rotate his CBs. He expects the guys he has on the field to make plays. it just seems to me that you would want your most talented cb against their most talented WR. and yeah we are playing really conservative today.... what gives? Exactly. it just seems to me that you would want your most talented cb against their most talented WR. and yeah we are playing really conservative today.... what gives? Nothing gives. Carlos Rogers is our #1 CB in the absence of Springs. Springs was not often locked in on a receiver last season either. Nothing has changed. Quite frankly, the way Rogers has played so far this season (although the whole secondary looks pretty porous) I wouldn't say this matters a whole lot. He let up critical plays against Wilford on the Jags, who I believe is their #3 (big, tall, possession receiver).

Taylor 21
"SLICK" should be CR's new nickname......as in slick fingers.....as is this guy can't make an interception if you caught it FOR him. 3rd time this regular season he has dropped a sure and easy interception. /QUOTE]exactly what I was gonna say. seanyt
Rodgers is Way OVER RATED this dudes uniform reaks of smoke cause he gets burned all day. I could have swore he had a clear cut INT. fall right through his fingers today, boy wouldn't that have been a nice way to set the tone early in the 1st Qtr. But my fav. is when he get beaten by the reciever and the reciever drops the pass the little fellah starts beating on his chest as if he has something to do with it... RySkins
Rogers is not rotating to the #1 WR because he STINKS! I can't figure out what it is that he does well, because it sure isn't covering or tackling.

Gamebreaker
There's no reason to get down on Carlos Rogers. He's a young corner and he will improve. He reminds me of a youg Vernon Dean. Anybody remember him? Dean was an okay corner. While Rogers is not on the level as a Champ Bailey, Charles Woodson, or a Ty Law, he's a solid corner and has to play the deep ball better given the fact that he was a high draft choice. He hasn't shown to be a "solid" corner in any game this season. He gives up deep passes like it's going out of style, to slow players like Burress even. I won't blame him for the short passes he gave up today, that should be charged to the coaches, but when you're already 10 yards off the reciever YOU SHOULD NOT BE GIVING UP COMPLETIONS DEEP. No excuses.

Cherick
I know exactly where rogers should be.......... on the bench. Unfortunately, we have nothing but trash on Wright and RUmph
Slacky McSlackAss
I think we may need something similar to the "future is now" brunell sigs but using rogers instead. this is the the fourth straight game hes played like :pooh:. seriously this has got to stop! Cali Boi
I think you guys are blaming Rogers for Wright and Rumph mistakes. He only gave up two passes which he was in good position on. you can't defend a perfect pass. Your anger should be at the D-Line for lack of pressure! MWP
Rogers hasn't had a bad game since week 1. Really? So I guess blown tackles and poor coverage means he's playing well. Interesting... It's hard to blame it on Rogers, though. The whole secondary is suspect at best.
RySkins
Can't cover, can't tackle, takes poor angles, and, in those rare situations where he is in the right place to make a big play, he then can't catch the ball. Yeah, I'll vote for hate him.
