Skin'emAlive
That was awesome. It was like watching a bully beat up a little school boy. I think Lesnar has become the real life Brock Samson.

Oldskool
I completely enjoyed watching Lesnar turning Mir's face into ground chuck once again. Dude had no chance to win against Brock unless Lesnar screwed up. Turned out all that Brock screwed up was Frank's face.

Skin'emAlive
Oh. I have loved Lesnar since he threw Zach Gowen down a flight of stairs. The guy is hilarious as a heel. Whether in the fake world or in the real world.

I don't think he knows how to act in public or in interviews, so he reverts to the Lesnar "heel" persona. Granted, it probably isn't that far off from what he portrays IRL, but this is just him exaggerated. Edited July 12, 2009 by Oldskool

KDawg
I'm a huge Lesnar fan. 1) Because of all the haters. 2) Because as much as I enjoy the technical aspects of MMA, I also enjoy a good face pounding. Brock is an animal. His post fight antics were on par with alot of the people who oppose Brock. Childish. I agree. But that said, there are people that hate Brock due to the fact he was a pro wrestler and alot of those same people are fans of Josh Barnett, who was the same. Brock is the best thing to happen to UFC as far as marketing goes. It's not even close. Who's a bigger draw? GSP? No. GSP is a great talent, and pound for pound he and Anderson Silva are the only two in the argument, in my opinion... But, neither of them are the face of UFC. Brock may have just cemented his place as the face of UFC and maybe even MMA. Ask the average MMA fan who they know that fights MMA and I almost guarantee Brock will be one of the names they list. The middle fingers? The trash talking? Mir was pretty childish pre-fight at times as well, and that doesn't make me think any less of him. The post fight stuff was all a marketing ploy, and like it or hate it... It's going to work. Brock is here to stay. Hop on the bandwagon or cheer against him, but one way or the other you want to see the man fight.
Hooper
Brock is a beast. Just an animal. And the bad guy stuff is pretty funny. GSP dominated. And I really thought Henderson might have killed Bisping. Just insane. Boxing or MMA, the Brits sure are good at hyping up stiffs. Maybe Bisping can have a beer with Ricky Hatton when they both remember where they are. Edited July 12, 2009 by Hooper

#98QBKiller
GSP is a great talent, and pound for pound he and Anderson Silva are the only two in the argument, Don't forget Fedor, Machida, Torres, and even B.J. Penn.
Sebowski
Mir has the experience and If this fight goes past the 3rd round, Mir will win by submission. Nobody knows about Lesners cardio, so it should be interesting. I always pull for technique over brute strength I know/knew: Laugh all you want, I know my friends do when I tell them, but Lesnar's chin has been tested by multiple chair shots in his pro wrestling days. Lesnar will be too quick, big, and strong for Randy. He is also a cardio machine as noted in his Iron man matches with Kurt Angle. I don't bet my sig, but I'll put some PBR at Winston's on it, Mike. Chump Bailey
Is there anyone at the HW level that can take down Brock? I think it will have to be someone of equal size, not that Mir is small. Brock is simply too powerful for these guys no matter how skilled they may be. Brock may not be a martial arts specialist per se, but his wrestling prowess and size make him the most formidable fighter at that level. He will remain as such for some time IMO. Rogan said Brock is 260lbs. I doubt that seriously.
KDawg
Don't forget Fedor, Machida, Torres, and even B.J. Penn. I think Lesnar would straight ***** Fedor. I'd leave him out of the p4p argument. Machida could definitely be in the conversation. Torres... Eh. BJ Penn a few years ago, yes. He's still good, but not the best fighter p4p at the moment. Special K
All I can say is that I'd pay a lot of money to see a Lesnar vs. Fedor fight, that would be rad. Rogan said Brock is 260lbs. I doubt that seriously. He has to cut to 265 for heavyweight...he walks around way bigger than 265 though, and he fights at least 15-20 above 265. Chachie
Brock Lesnar is a dream GnPer. Juggernaut with cinderblock fists. I'm not big on his personality but he looks pretty unbeatable right now. St. Pierre proved the last BJ Penn fight was no fluke, not that anyone thought it was. His pressure is sick. There is nothing left for him at 170. How about Hendo? Bisping was in deep water with Dan's power and it was only a matter of time before he drowned. The Count's a technically nice fighter but he has no power to challenge for a title with. (Edit) BTW- Congrats to Mark Coleman who had to beg the commission to let him fight, then eeked out a split decision against Stephan "The American Tool" Bonnar! Destino
Maybe Brock's presence will entice Fedor to come to the UFC. Personally I think Fedor would destroy Brock. Not sure if Dana White would want that to happen.
