TheDirtbags
Interestingly the copper value of pre 1982 pennies is now 2.2cents. Maybe you should have melted them down and sold the copper - that way you could have had two shirts :-)RebelYell how would this work????
CaptainChaos
I found and ordered a case for the football. Ebay. There were so many out there and who ever heard of platforms for footballs to go INSIDE the cases??? I had no clue until a few hours ago. I heard that on the news about the pennies. I am sure most were that old. Interesting.... Wonder if they will keep making them??? They are the biggest pain to roll. Nothing else bothers me. Too many years in Jr. church helping to roll pennies with my Dad.......... I got the BEST DVDs from Netflix. Two of them. Highlights of the Skins SuperBowls. I have watched the 82-83 one, with that dynamite run by Riggo, and the other disk is still waiting. Good night, my fellow Skins fans!!! Not too long til pre-season!! CaptainChaos
Just 1 question: Does it hurt to put your balls in a display case? I have another football that is signed by Joe Jacoby, and it has been in a curio cabinet for 2 years. The only thing it has done is lose air. I do not know if there is a way to stop that from happening or if that is inevitable. But the football looks like it always did, and that is not a ball case. The one I ordered will enclose the ball completely and will keep it better. I forgot to ask: Anyone know how to stop those suckers from losing air. And I already have an uncle who has threatened to steal the one I have. He is kidding, of course. He values his hands too much.
heatman28
Jesus, you waited 2 years for a replica? If you're married and your wife was giving you a hard time about this then she needs a beaten! Anyhow, the display cases are on eBay. Good luck...

I am permanently disabled, and disability does not leave room for a jersey a year. Gotta plan for that kind of stuff. I am gonna assume the beating comment was a joke. I took it from your user name that you were a male but who knows anymore these days...sorry.
CaptainChaos
Yes, the "beating" comment was just joking. I took it from your user name that you were a male but who knows anymore these days...sorry. No problem. I could not come up with a screen name that was feminine and did not involve the word cheerleader. So, I picked my current favorite Skin. I guess I should apologize for confusing everyone else. It really doesn't matter, a knowledgable Skins fan is a fan no mattere what. No harm no foul (Tracey goes onto field and picks up yellow flag thrown earlier). Carry on!
FunBunch7
I have a Darrell Green Jersey since 1996. I have only worn it to Redskin/Cardinal game sin AZ and the 2 games I went to at Fed Ex. I have never washed it. Oh, and I wore it once when my wife and I were "role playing"
