CPstretch
yeah, I laughed at that one. Also, notice he accidentally refers to us as the Cowboys early in the article  . Maybe we run a slighty different version of the stretch play, or they are saying it's Al Saunders version of the stretch play (which was a big part of his KC offense)? a lottttt of teams run the stretch running play. it is my personal favorite (hence the username). anyhow, the colts used it a LOT with edgerrin. it looks a lot like a sweet, the whole line pulls in one direction and the RB makes a cut by a specific spot on the field and tries to take it upfield. the skins used this play mainly when we were inside the 10 yard line to get it real close down in by the goal line. on a few occasions (tampa playoff game, SF game) CP cut it up and took it in. Also, from yesterday, quickly found by searching "ESPN Insider" Redskins ready to make move Group ya, maybe, but not sue ya.
Rogers22
He called us the Cowboys? Those writers need to stop writing all their articles in one night...

Major Harris
hmm, i guess i'm conditioned to do so based on our past (maybe i'm running behind in de-tox), but based on the thread title, i thought we were going after a player.
Bonef1de
and two of their new starters -- Archuleta and TE Christian Fauria -- are actually upgrades. Fauria is a starter? How is he an upgrade over #47? And don't tell me that Chris is an H-back because Saunders has already said that Chris is a TE in his offense. Sorry but Fauria is not gonna be a regular starting player. I think he'll be in certain packages like goal-line situations.

Per Redskins.com #88 Fauria, Christian 6' 4" 250lbs #47 Cooley, Chris 6' 3" 265lbs The Redskins signed Fauria, an 11-year veteran tight end, with little fanfare. He is expected to back up Chris Cooley, serve in multiple tight end sets and play a role on special teams http://www.redskins.com/news/newsDetail.jsp?id=17159
Bonef1de
When they say upgrade I think they mean over Robert Royal I know that but this writer obviously does not follow the Redskins close enough because when Royal was shown the door and Al Saunders took over our NEW starting TE wears #47. gortiz
I love this, I'm feeling the same hype and electricity from 91. I'll never forget reading that the skins were super bowl favorites for the first time in SI that year.

Passizle
Has anyone else noticed that all of these so called "editors" or whatever they are called, always fail to mention the fact that we now have one of the best offensive minds in the NFL, being Al Saunders? These experts always seem to mention how good our defense has been and that we have added a couple of new wideouts, but no one ever mentions Al Saunders. Read the article again. They mention him in the first paragraph.
