Lost Predictions Thread.... (possible spoilers)

Ok... Lets get some predictions going so we can see who's right.

My first guess is that the fake Henry is actually the "Head Guy". He's the one in charge.

Next?

I disagree with that. I think "Him" is actually a "Her" and I think it might be Dr. Clue. Or Possibly Desmond's friend Kalvin.

I also think, they spoil Michaels plan before he gets them there, and kinda convert him back to good to think of a plan to get walt back and keep them all safe, even though noone is gonna like Michael after they find out he Murdered two people.

I posted it as a joke yesterday - but I am going to predict that a missile was launched from the island and it caused the plane to crash.

The missile launched because Desmond forgot to enter in the #'s one time. That's why its important to him that they get entered in.

:silly:

I also predict that Mr Eko bites the dust in this episode. Which would make me :(

anyone check out "www.thehansofoundation.org" recently....

it has been apparent that we are being introduced to the execs every week, thus leading us to assume that this week with the last one being Peter Thompson, that we will be learning about him a little aswell after this episode.

If you go there and look at his picture, he has letters flashing across his face, they are too quick to make out, but I wonder if it will be related to what they show us after this episode

My prediction is that Dr. Thomas Mittelwerk is "the head Guy." He has a creepy photo and is Hanso's right hand man as well as having the scientific pedigree for experiments taking place on the island. Plus, his mother died of a rare genetic disease when Thomas was young, so I can see that as being a motivation for exploration and research.

I thought everything dealing with the websites was just a side story, not really dealing with the show, to tide people over until next season...am I wrong?

BTW - code that's a damn good theory. And it makes sense the other's urgency is getting him back.

Maybe it will be a lucky guess, Not sure why I think he might be the guy, but I didn't even think of your point. That does make even more sense...

Not sure, the hanso site/persepheony (Sp??) questions if Mittlework actually even has a degree, so that is interesting.

Mittlework also appears in the "Bad Twin" novel.

There are already tie-ins with the Hanso site and the current Lost. Case in point, the experiments of the Hanso Foundation and events on the TV show. And since we may not see "the Head Guy" until the season finale or next season, then it would make sense with the website tie-in. Plus, Mittlewerk's photo does not look stock like some of the other photographs on the site.

That's what I thought a while back...but it seems like he risked an awful lot if that is the case.

I can't see this happening because the way he put down Zeke and his minor role in this made me think that there is no way that the main guy would be caught dead in the actual "others" garb (dirty and haggard). Seems that "he" is worshipped my many, including Henry IMO. I do think that "he" is on the island though, or at least on an island close by (via the ferry mentioned in the Pearl video).

I dont think henry is the main guy, cause I doubt the head hauncho has much alone time and probably has a security detachment so I cant really see how he could just be randomly snared.

My most crazy prediction is the others leaders are actually non-human.

On the previews they claim to answer a lot of questions. I know they will raise new questions as well. Do you think they can answer too many questions that will in turn make you lose interest?

Totally depends. Great question though. If we find out "everything", then it makes it really hard for the writers, where do they go from there?

So far, much of the info is known my different characters, but if they shared the info, they'd know as much as the audience...

For example, Kate knows about the costumes, she told Jack, Walt told Michael that the others were not who they say they are and the are doing experiments, and were pretending to be who they were, Eko and John saw the observation bunker and saw the orientation film there.

To us, it's obvious some type of experiment is going on, to them, it's not so obvious.

I'm guessing they figure out that it's an elaborate ruse and where they go next season could be very interesting. Do they go back in time and dig more into the Hanso foundation? Do they go back and look at past groups that were part of the experiment?

Code, I like that theory, that faux Henry Gale is the head honcho. Are they definitely going to "out" who the leader of the Others is tonight?

Also, I didn't see this mentioned yet, but I thought I'd state the obvious: Desmond is in that boat. Also, I think someone will take off in it by the end of the episode, probably Michael and Walt (if he gets him back).

And they're going to explain (who knows in how much detail, though) how the plane crashed. The obvious theory is it is related to the magnet, but I'm not so sure. Other than the deaths, nothing else in the show has followed the obvious route. I think it has to do with the black cloud (the monster), and it is some sort of nano-tech. being controlled by the Hanso Foundation.

Maybe they won't show us how they brought down 815 but will show us them bringing down another plane, which will add more people to the island. It would be cool if this were to happen at the end of the episode and the survivors would be, as I mentioned in another thread, the good/evil twins of our current losties.

Can't wait for the finale!!

I have no idea, I just had a weird feeling that Henry could be "the man". But I heard that we will find out why the plane crashed.

I'm probably totally wrong, but reading everyone's ideas is fun...
