#1SkinsFan
Last season, our Turnover margin was horrible for the most part of the season, until the end when we had that 5 game win streak. Last season we ended at +1 in the TO margin with 28 total takeaways. 16 INTS, and 12 fumble recoveries. We also had 27 giveaways. 11 INTS and 16 Fumbles lost. Personally, I think we should be in the +4 to +8 range in the turnover margin. What do ya'll think?
DWinzit
This is a good TO thread 8 sounds about right. Our offense wil score 4 or 5 more points a game. This will force opponents offense into more passing situations. That is when our pressure packed D creates mucho TO's.

Bhutanibeast
haha yea i thought it was another OWens thread also! But last season, the number of fumbles lost near the beginning was absolutely ridiculous. Brunell, Portis, ROck, and even Santana lost fumbles. That cannot happen again this year. ddub52
if brunell stops fumbling, we should have a better ratio than that
#1SkinsFan
if brunell stops fumbling, we should have a better ratio than that Yea, hopefully he'll be more comfortable and won't lose it like he did this past season. He had like 5 or 6 fumbles, i believe?
Bostic Hog
Hopefully, we won't fumble as much. And with a better pass rush, we should create more fumbles (the opposing QB) and of course, more INTs (Carlos should be healthy). +12 is my guess. Califan007 The Constipated
We'll be +497 in the turnover ratio...Shawn Springs alone will have 15 INTS a game. You heard it here first.
Hailskinz1991
with little changes to the defense this year and expectations of a better pass rush from the D line we should see the defense pick up where it left off at the end of last season. Should be nice considering it took the d a little while last year to start getting those turnovers, but once they figured it out, it was awesome! :helmet:
Hailskinz1991
i am having some good feelings about C Rogers this year too, I really look for him to have a major impact in the secondary. I know that dropped int for touchdown in Seattle has got him training hard!!!

talk show host
i dont know what our TO margin will be, but i think we can turn the ball over 3 times a game and still put up 35 points!
NewCliche21
Our turnover ratio got dramatically better at the end of the season. I think that top-10 turnover ratio is not far-fetched for this team.

bigdog77s
TO margin.. My prediction... TO will get JACKED UP by Sean Taylor once every game we play them Why only once? Can't play when you are unconscious.
dfos81
Will be +10 or better. We had so many more chances then we actually took advantage of. If you look at how we started the 1st half of the yr, compared to how we finished, I can tell you we really started taking balls away l8r in the yr. I don't know exactly the number right now, its too late to be researching for me, but I know we should be well over +1 this yr.

SkinsFTW
Brunell had 6 fumbles turned over last year, double the most ever in his career. Antonio Brown and Ramsey are gone too. Nobody else fumbled more than average and 11 Ints is pretty good. I'd guess +15 or better if Brunell starts 16 games without getting hurt. Gibbs teams of the past won games because of the turnover ratio. Last year they won despite a poor ratio most of the season. Thats a good sign since the team is a lot better now and shouldn't have turnover problems.

Birdlives
Bottom line it, less turnover on defense, means more consistent D and more turnover chances for us. If our Offense is at least competent we should be on the positive side.
GibbsFactor
I hate T.O. so much now. I read this thread and thought what the hell is an Owen's margin?? We will lead the league this year! +
LANCERLOT
Be Smart with the Football!! Its gonna be tuff to be dum with da-ball? (Moss, Patten, Randell, Loyd, Cooly, Portis) I thought Mark Ripien was great when our Skins went to the Bowl against the Bills. Imagine this seson with a veteren Quarterback and so many unstoppable Weapons? Its gonna be like USA against Iraq... lol
