The Full Monty
Robert Royal blew that one for us. We could've kept milking the clock if he catches those 3rd down passes. But you can't ignore Casey Rabach's holding penalty. Take your pick.
Thirtyfive2seven
Of all the games to play out of our season they pick THAT one! lol. At least the Tampa game was a GOOD game.
Donita35
I agree. They could have picked a better game, perhaps one what we actually won. But I guess if you are looking at it from the stand point of a good or bad game, then it definitely qualifies as a good game.
Skins4481
This is a good game to watch. The play before LT's big run, Antonio Gates catches a short pass(on 3rd down) and runs right past LaVar's fat ass for a big gain and a first down. That play killed all our momentum. dreamshatterer
The clip of LT shoving Ryan Clark down to the ground by his face for the winning TD has been used a lot when talking about LT's season last year. I can't believe we let that game get away.
santana_4_prez
owch, just thinking about this game brings back painful memories. i think i dropped a couple f-bombs after that holding pentaly...i may have tossed a few things across the room as well. I was driving home from NC during the game and had to keep switching radio stations to hear the game. I think I had some Redskins induced Road Rage after that penalty. Mooka
bleh. If Big Joe didn't get hurt in the 2nd half we would've shut LT down the whole game.
GaryClark4Canton
what a load of cow secretions. Finally, the one game i've been looking forward to on the NFL Network featuring the skins and they dust off this garbage and serve it up hot. WTF? I'd much rather see the steelers and browns vs whoever for the millionth plucking time! This network is starting to really irk me. GC
Donita35
I was there, no need to relive the agony. Agreed. I don't know which game was worst, that one or the one at home against Oakland that we gave away. Oh well...No since in bringing up old memories. pjfootballer
if we win that game and oakland, we're 12-4 and home for the playoffs with a bye. don't want to relive it again. We won 10 games last year and the only games I've seen NFL Network show that we won is the TB playoff and Philly last game.
Santana_Fan
the Redskins lost the game as a team together, the way we played in the first qtr should have stayed that way.

Phixius
I was there, no need to relive the agony. So was I, just watching LT run towards my direction stiff arming Clark as he goes to the endzone was just awful to watch. NoCalMike
Watching this game though, it gives me a lot of hope for the upcoming season. I mean whenever the Skins are on offense, they keep playing audio of San Diego's coaches, to just cover Santana Moss like white on rice because everyone else "is a stiff" I am sure this was the strategy of many teams throughout the 2nd half of the season. So basically with Portis and ONE Great WR, we made it to the 2nd round of the playoffs, so adding Brandon Lloyd and Randel El should make an immediate impact in not only Moss open more due to one on one coverage, but Brunell also having more options to throw to in crunch time. Why the mediots at ESPN fail to grasp this concept I just don't know.

Why the mediots at ESPN fail to grasp this concept I just don't know. The person calling the rest of the recievers "stiffs" is the radio announcer for the Chargers, not the coaches. They also said "Rock, freakin' Cartwright!?" The reason the game is on is because it was "Charger Night". Two episodes of "6 Days to Sunday" on the Chargers and then this game of the Week. Notice how the NFL Films narrator kept saying how much the Redskins needed the game to make the playoffs? We lost the game and made the playoffs. The Chargers won, and missed them. It's funny actually. There is a shot of #61 of the Chargers giving the Redskin faithful a hard time before the game. I wonder how he felt when the Redskins made the playoffs. Did he "go home with his tail between his legs"? hehehe.... :logo:
