Thiebear
Palestinian gunmen kill senior Hamas member http://today.reuters.com/news/newsArticle.aspx?type=worldNews&storyID=2006-05-16T194223Z_01_L16198482_RTRUKOC_0_US-MIDEAST-VIOLENCE.xml&archived=False GAZA (Reuters) - Unidentified Palestinian gunmen shot dead a senior Hamas activist in the Gaza Strip on Tuesday, Palestinian medics and a security source said, in a further escalation of lawlessness in the coastal strip. They said unknown gunmen shot and killed 25-year old Mohammed Tatar, a senior member of Hamas's military wing, as he was driving near Palestinian Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh's office in Gaza city. No one claimed responsibility for the attack. Separately on Tuesday masked gunmen in the Khan Younis area of Gaza shot and critically wounded another senior member of Hamas's military wing and injured a second Hamas member, witnesses said. Im really starting to come around with this Hamas voting in thing.. They are killing each other now? It's becoming fully automated, no fuss, no muss..... Unidentified Palestinian gunmen They just don't identify the allegiance of the Palestinian gunman, but they do advise they are Palestinian. Thiebear
Good thing they had the peace agreement Seems peace to palestinian fighters means the same thing with each other as it does to Israel..
Thirtyfive2seven
I don't know why, but I laughed when I read the headline. These people are barbarians, and I use the word people loosely.
AtticA
"25-year old Mohammed Tatar, a senior member of Hamas's military wing" How many years do you have to be in an organization to be called a senior member? I guess they start those wacky terrorists at a real young age.

Well, when they all die by the time they're in their late-teens, 25 is kind of like the grizzled, old wise-man terrorist...

Larry
Just out of curiousity, if the gunmen are "unknown" how do they know that they were Palestinian? I'm wondering about that myself. "Well, they didn't look Jewish."
