LiveStrongSkins
The NFC east is loaded with talent. If you could pick one player on either the Giants, Cowboys, or Eagles to have on our team... who would it be and why? I'm sure there are going to be the people who chime in with the "None of them..." but the truth of the matter is, movement around the division is common and you are not going against the Redskins by respecting a divisional opponent. My player would be Osi Umenyora (sp). I believe the tandem of Carter and Umenyora would be unstoppable. I pick him over Strahan simply because of the fact he is younger and has more in the tank. That pass rush from the front four combined with the blitz would strangle teams.
GrimReefa
Donovan McNabb, easy.

ZoEd
As soon as I read the title of this thread the first person to come to mind was Osi as well. The kid is a beast and is, well, a kid. I think several people will want to say Manning for the same reason. He might be a young punk that we love to hate because he's a Giant but let's face it he's going to be great in this league. LiveStrongSkins
Donovan McNabb, easy. Another good choice. The guy does alot for his team and is a class act. I just figured a dominant pass rush was the sexy choice at the moment.
Lil Kenzo
Osi urmomma or Donovan McNabb.
TheDiplomat
McNabb!!!!! EDIT: Even though QB is not necessarily a weak link on our team, I believe it's our weakest link. McNabb is the best QB in our division.

GrimReefa
Some guys are forgetting that a big part of the thread idea was to explain why. You're right. Of course you are, it's your thread. Anyway... The most important position on the field is QB. And the Redskins QB situation, for all of the talent we have everywhere else, is uncertain, and bad QB play (think '04) could derail this team. Brunell is 0 for his last 3 in getting through an entire season healthy, and Jason Campbell, as much as I trust the people who selected him, is an unknown quantity. McNabb would give us one of the top 5 players in the League at his position (that is arguable, but it's an arguement I would take on), and would sure up what appears to me to be, by far, the biggest question mark on the team. Again, not that I think the QBs we have are BAD, just that I'm uncertain. And even a healthy Brunell is not as good as McNabb.
ZoEd
McNabb? Sorry boys but I think he's seen his best years, I know so has Brunell right? The injury makes me question him. Honestly I think he may have lost some heart due to the TO cancer he was diagnosed with. It may have been eradicated but unfortunately, or fortunately for us, it may have taken it's toll on McNabb. We'll see. I will agree though that QB is about the only position in question. However, if Joe and company didn't go after one of the top FA QB's I think they're comfortable with where we're at with Mark. I was a MB hater earlier in the season but I'm beginning to think that he's perfect for the system the Redskins are going to run. McNabb's smarts? I never really followed him when drafted but is he considered one of the smarter QB's? Would he be able to handle the offense of Saunders and Gibbs? earl
well if its for 1 year, i would pick brian dawkins. i know its not a need, but he's probably the best player in the conference next to TO and i wouldn't want him.
jrockster21
Donovan McNabb, easy. Wait...so you want a QB that can lead us to the big game but then choke?? You want a QB on the wrong side of 29 and coming off a serious abdominal injury?? No thanks. Brunell did just fine last season, and there's no reason to think he won't do well again this season. If I have to choose a player for the Skins, I would take Osi Humanurine as well. Either Osi or Bunkley, to groom as a replacement for Griffin (when that time comes).
