11-5, NFC Divisional game berth, loss.......... 2007 will be a Super Bowl victory

im just hoping we equal what we did this year. anything past that is just bonus, and totally sweet

12-4 (Division Champions)

Win NFC title game over Bears (they're not going away people -- Lovie Smith is gonna have that team competitive every yr)

Win Super Bowl over Chiefs (Herm has more talent with KC right now than he EVER had in NY.....and he almost got them there twice)

with our offseason moves with new players and new coaches,a championship caliber defense, honestly for me anything short of atleast playing in the nfc championship game wouldnt be a failure, but a big disappointment!!!! Where do you stand?

I expect a Super Bowl appearance and nothing less.

Once the team makes some depth additions on the O-line, a Super Bowl is the next step.

I would like to see us pick up where we left off last season. If we can play with that intensity all season, the sky is the limit and these Super Bowl predictions don't sound so crazy.

As far as my expectations, I will be happy with any improvement on last year. A home playoff win would be great, for example.

Hard to say ... the homer in me would love to suggest that we will be 13-3 or 12-4 and make it to the NFC championship (at least) .... but I feel Seattle, Dallas, and NY Giants have improved. I don't believe that Dallas or NY will surpass our playoff run, but Seattle and Chicago are in very weak divisions (all Chicago's rivals have new coaches) ... so home field for the playoffs maybe very hard to get. I believe we can beat Chicago, but Seattle is a different story ... with them it comes down to injuries .... and desire. If the Seahawks of history show up, then we can expect dropped passes and bad things to happen at bad times to them and presto ... we are off to Miami ... but if the team that had last years passion and focus shows up ... along with the free agents and another year of teamwork together with the addition of a big-time grudge about their loss in the SB ... they may be tough .. especially since they have bye weeks that we don't ... San Fran.

It will be interesting to see how things play out in their division. Arizona should be good, but that has been intimated before with no results for the suggestion. St. Louis was better with Martz compared to Vitt and Lindehan should be better than Vitt, so who knows how they will fare.

Getting back to the Bears .... the other unfortunate thing is that they play the AFC East this year ... so they get NY Jets, Buffalo, GB (2), Detroit (2), and Minnesota (2) ... that is 8 games against teams w/ 1st year coaches. Add to that Tampa going to them in the winter and NE losing more coaches and they could easily be 13-3 (losing to Seattle, NY, and a possible other).

I won't say Superbowl because injuries play a large part and our division is as sick as it has ever been ... but I believe we have a 1/3 chance vs. Seattle and Chicago ... not a 1/16 chance like the rest of the teams in the conference.

Another playoff birth.

Anything more would be gravy.

Amen. I would love to see the Skins make it to Miami, and with this group of coaches and players, it's possible, but we have a monsterous schedule in arguably the toughest divsion in professional football. To be honest, getting into the playoffs may be tricker than advancing from the postseason to the SB.
