broreal
Was just reading one of the retirement stories out there and came across this: Yet all along the way, Flutie encountered detractors. Bears quarterback Jim McMahon once publicly dismissed his former backup, Flutie, as "America's midget." http://www.nfl.com/nflnetwork/story/9440679If memory serves correct, didn't McMahon routinely make 60plus yard drop kicks in pre-game warm ups? And always beg for the chance to do it in a game? Is this where Flutie learned to do it? Could that old quote by McMahon have had something to do with Flutie getting his chance to Kick? Interesting possiblity............

DWinzit
Flutie was drop kicked every time the Def got a hold of him. They drop kicked him to Canada.
