jsgregg
For those who like to get something unique and rare.....I found this last week on the Philadelphia Eagles website. It is an official game used football from the Redskins vs. Eagles on Jan.1, 2006. This is the win that put the Redskins in the playoffs. Apparently, the Philadelphia Eagles sell their game balls after each game (I wonder why Dan hasn't done this yet?) Seeing as how these balls are from an Eagles loss, they don't appear to be selling....but for a Redskins fan, this is pure gold! Mine came via Fed Ex today and it is awesome. It has some great signs of game wear and comes with a COA from the Eagles saying it is game used from the Redskins/Eagles game. :eaglesuck Hope someone else finds this of use. DButz65
LOL, real UNused footballs sell for about $80-$100, why would anyone pay $250 for a used one is beyond me. Oh yea i forgot, they are eagles fans. Now if it was signed or something, that would be different... :2cents:
jsgregg
Isn't that the whole point though? It is a Redskins game used football, used in a Redskins win over a division rival. A win that clinched our playoff birth. Redskins autographs are easy to get, game used footballs are not. Not everyone will want to spend money on something like this, but if you are a collector, it will look awfully good in your Redskins Room along with this picture:
HailRiggoRanger
That's a great find, but too expensive for me.
