you should go a lil outside DC to clarendon and go to clarendon ballroom.... they have a really nice outdoor patio...it's open at 5pm, and they say they have specials daily

She works near capital hill...and I was hoping for something hear her work...I'm not sure if she wants to come out to Arlington....actually I happen to know the bars in arlington pretty well so thats why I am asking about DC

Everywhere around the hill is going to be packed with staffers...try and find a wine bar a little bit away from the hill if you can.

New wine bar called Sonoma on the House side looks cool. They probably have HH wine specials. Near Politiki, Top of the Hill, Trover, etc.

  • 2 years later...
what are the specials though, that's the key.

I am uh.. *ahem* underage so to speak, so I cant always get the alcohols...so appetizers are what I have to look forward to :D

I dunno off the top of my head. If you are looking for good food, go with Rock Bottom or Front Page.

Good God these are awful suggestions. Apparently, everyone thinks you are dating a 22-year-old JMU graduate who was in a frat.

Cool resturant/bar in Capitol Hill:

Good wine bar, though good luck finding a seat:

My advice, go to Arlington. I think this is the best wine bar in the area. And it is generally not disgustingly crowded. And they serve corn dogs:

Seriously, The Banana Cafe is simply awesome. But I could eat Cuban food everyday.

It turns out that the Pour House is right next to her work...also its a lot cheaper than the last place we went...our first date was at a place called The Grill from Ipanema...great food a bit pricey but we had a great time together

Do you seriously want to take her to a dark dive bar that smells like stale IC Light?

Most of these places listed are where you go to meet girls. Not places you take girls. Yu-uge difference, Maddog. Yu-uge.
