cowboyuptx
Top 10 NFC-EAST Wide Recievers............. 1. Terrell Owens (DAL) - Head and shoulders above the rest, until proven otherwise. 2. Santana Moss (WAS) 3. Plaxico Burress (NYG) - These 3 are very close. 4. Terry Glenn (DAL) 5. Reggie Brown (PHI) 6. Amani Toomer (NYG) - These 3 are very close. 7. Brandon Lloyd (WAS) 8. Patrick Crayton (DAL) 9. Jabar Gaffney (PHI) - These 3 are very close. 10. Antwaan Randle El (WAS) AGREE/DISAGREE? 8-10........ I know many of you cant believe I put ARE at #10, and Crayton at #8.......... However, ARE started 15 of 16 games last year and only managed 558 yard and 1 TD......... I'm pretty sure if Crayton would've gotten that kind of playing time, he would've been much more productive. Randle El, is great for gimmick plays, but leaves alot to be desired as a WR. Gaffney, will look a little better with McNabb and the Eagles.
ddub52
i wouldnt have put reggie brown at 5, not a chance in the world. i guess i cant argue with your top 4, but santana does give TO a run for his money. its kinda hard to rank these new receivers who have yet to play in our division, which is pretty dominant

BigDaddyShoo
2. Santana Moss (WAS) 3. Plaxico Burress (NYG) - These 3 are very close. 4. Terry Glenn (DAL) Are you kidding me that Plax & Glenn are 'very close' to Moss? Glenn has lost more than a step and Plax only shows up to play 50% of the time. SkinsNoles21
Are you kidding me, Brown and Toomer ahead of Lloyd, thats a little rediculous. And TO head and shoulders above Moss and his 1491 yards last season. I highly doubt TO will put up numbers like that this year.

Randle El, is great for gimmick plays, but leaves alot to be desired as a WR. Gaffney, will look a little better with McNabb and the Eagles. You have to remember that Randle El played for the Pittsburgh Steelers and probably the most rush happy offense in the league. I doubt Crayton could have put up better numbers in Randle El's shoes. Also I think Antwaan will put up some pretty decent numbers this year alongside the huge seasons coming up for Santana and Brandon Lloyd, not to mention that guy Cooley. I highly doubt TO will put up numbers like that this year. TO is definitely the best reciever in the division, but of course he's not gonna put up numbers like that in Dallas with their offense. Just to be a homer... SANTANA MOSS IS THE BEST RECIEVER EVER!
D'Pablo
Terrell Owens is the most overrated receiver ever... His best year was 1451 yards. That was quite a few seasons back. Chances are he won't ever match that again. BTW, I don't mind Moss being mention with Plexiglass, but Glenn? Please. Revised list: 1. Terrell Owens 2. Santana Moss <=these three are close 3. Plaxico Burress 4. Reggie Brown 5. Terry Glenn <=these three are close 6. Brandon Lloyd 7. Antwaan Randle-El 8. Amani Toomer <=these three are close 9. Patrick Crayton 10. Jabar Gaffney

Glenn has lost more than a step and Plax only shows up to play 50% of the time. How do ya figure that???? Glenn set a career high last year in yards per reception. Here's how Glenns numbers stack up against Moss', Moss has the better numbers, but these aren't the stats of a guy who has "lost a more than a step". Terry Glenn - 2005 Games - 16 - Catches - 62 - Yards - 1136 - Avg. Per - 18.3 - TD's - 7 - +20 - 18 - +40 - 7 - FD's - 49 Santana Moss - 2005 Games - 16 - Catches - 84 - Yards - 1483 - Avg. Per - 17.7 - TD's - 9 - +20 - 24 - +40 - 10 - FD's - 60 Plaxico Burress - 2005 (just for good measure) Games - 16 - Catches - 76 - Yards - 1214 - Avg. Per - 16.0 - TD's - 7 - +20 - 20- +40 - 5 - FD's -

And TO head and shoulders above Moss and his 1491 yards last season. I highly doubt TO will put up numbers like that this year. Actually, Owens has never put up those yards before. Owens was better. Moss is better now though. Even with a very average offense around him he put up great numbers last year. Owens is in his mid 30's while Moss is 26-27. No contest who I would rather have. The rest of that list is BS too. Glenn should be below Lloyd, Brown hasn't proven much and Toomer is a pretty good old #2. Crayton and Gaffney above Randel El? Yeah, a lot of teams are lining up to give those guys double digit signing bonuses. Crayton in 2005: 22 341 Those numbers are staggering. How is he in anybody's top 10? Patten sucked and sat out 1/2 the season injured and had 22 catches.

SkinsNoles21
Lloyd just entered the NFL and has been a niner, those numbers are a little skewed my friend. As the number 2 on the skins he will put up close to 1000 yards.

DWinzit
You could mke an argument for Santana Moss' brother and NYG's 2nd round pick. He hasn't played a down and is better than Gaffney.

Xameil
I almost agree. I think TO is a number 1 but not by head and shoulders. He's good because he commands respect, and a double teaming. Terry Glen is a bit too unpredictable to be considered close to Moss. I would move LLoyd above toomer and Brown, and maybe ARE above Toomer. However, now that the 'skins have more receiving threats...this list is completely off now, and we'll have to see how they stack up. Any team that underestimates any one of the 'skins receivers is going to be in for a surprise IMO.

I never heard of Crayton until ST hit him. Buress is a joke too he is a no show in big games . Umm did you see the playoff game against the Panthers ? I have followed Buress through out his career in college and with the Steelers. What a joke .

RiggoReincarnated
1 (Tie) Moss/TO: Moss had a greater season then TOs best season, but TO has longevity with more consistently solid seasons. 3. Glenn 4. Burress 5. Brown 6. Lloyd 7. Pinkston (he made us pay dearly for focusing too much on TO) 8. Randle-El 9. Toomer 10. Patten

heatman28
T.O. may be better on paper but I'll take Moss over him any day of the week and twice on Sundays! BTW...Patten is better then any of those guys at 8-10!
