rm8899
I've noticed and so has many other extremers on here that Larry is all about the fields to the point that i bet his grass is greener than any field at the park! i wonder if his first job was as a landscaper. Everyone better buckle down because we're gonna get a whole 'nother series on the new fields at the park!!! should be interesting.
jschlesi
Any thing that draws attention to Larry -- is a good thing for Larry. He is a tool-- but he is OUR tool.
tr1
Please...many of us have had a number of jobs during our lives...is this really relevant to anything. Leave the guy alone.

Butz65
I don't mind Larry. He's got a tough job - trying to come up with something Skins-related to broadcast about on a daily or weekly basis at this time of year is extremely tough. That having been said he's got the personality of a turnip. I cringe every time he interviews a player or coach. Especially his interviews with Joe Gibbs. Every time Larry makes a glib remark I feel like JG is going to reach across the desk and slap him. Gibbs usually has a look on his face as if he's wondering how he got roped into this. Ultimately it was Larry's push to drop Frank and his trademark "Touchdown Washington Redskins" that will forever leave a bad taste in my mouth. Knowing that I have no control in the matter - I just wish the guy had a little more flair.

budski
I think he does a pretty good job, considering the time of year. He seems to get a little more excited during the season.

It's possible. Or he might just REALLY be into lawn care and that type of thing. As far as his broadcasts go, I don't really mind them that much. I remember the days of old when we were lucky to get ANY new info from Redskins.com so I'm pretty glad we get the coverage that we have.

planter
I like most of the Larry's "landscaping" stories. Many hobbyists/homeowners are curious about how the megawealthy take care of their turf (when it's not plastic).

Totally agree. I actually found that whole "WE HAVE HUGE NEWS" --- that turned out that the "grass was growing" was hilarious. Mostly because people here on ES completely flipped out. I mean, seriously, there's almost nothing to say at this time of the year. He could talk more about the FA or the Draft. He could talk more about depth on the team. Give the guy a break. Larry, if you're out there, you are the man.
HailSkinz1
I'm not a big fan of LM based on the way he handled his old post game call in show. He was sooo condescending and I find him that way as well with ES fans, but he did a real good job today with the Rookie Camp I thought. He even mentioned how fans think he's obsessed with the grass!
