I don't post often, But I was thinking that the Skins would pick up Manaia Brown from BYU. I thought they would get him in the 6th round. Coach Gibbs has always like LDS (Mormon) player. Here are a few that I can Think of. Chris Cooley, Kurt Gouevia, Jason Buck, Moe Eliwenebe. Mark "stinky" Slerreth? sp. I know there are more. But these are some that come to mind.

Also the the 1# prospect that the skins had before they drafted McIntosh was Duece Luitui from USC.

Cooley is a mormon???? Talk about the life. Think of how hot his girl is and how many more of 'em he can get. If I were a rich and famous person I would definitely go Mormon.

AA better watch out, Cooley is comin for his girl. hehe

That's actually a falsehood of being a Mormon, any polygamy under the guise of Mormonism is through fundamentalist branches of their belief, and any mainstream practicing Mormon who is a polygamist is excommunicated. Been that way since 1904 thanks to the US government and the public pretty much outcasting Mormons for that practice, so they gave it up to try to become more acceptable to the masses. So nah, Archuleta ain't got nothing to worry about, he could probably knock Cooley around anyway if he tried to steal his girl.

Just a quick fact, cooley is not actually raised in the Mormon faith... it was mentioned in an article from last season.

"Nancy was raised in the Mormon church, but chose not to raise her children in Utah's predominant faith. "I didn't give them any church except the Church of Being Nice to Everybody," she said in a telephone interview from Logan this week."
