HailRiggoRanger
This was posted by Mark Moseley in another thread. I guess the opinion is that Jones sucks: Jones is playing in NFLE for the Hamburg Seadevils. Yesterday 4/30 With 2-3 minutes left in the game & Hamburg with a 17-15 lead, Jones missed a 37 yd FG that would've have forced Amsterdam to score a TD to win. The Seadevils lost 18-17 Amsterdam kicked a 30 yd FG with 16 sec left to win. The Seadevils are 0-6-1. Jones' kickoffs are short too falling on the average at the 10-20 yd line. I've seen him miss a few FG's That could've won a game. Most of the Seadevils' games have been close ones,Like a few games the Skins had Last season

Mark Moseley
You're right HailRiggoRanger, I've seen 3/4 of the NFLE games this season & i've seen Jones miss more FG's than he's made. In his Defence, Just about Every game In NFLE the TV commentators seem to always mention the crappy field conditions, loose turf & divits

It is almost always raining, but the fields there are not built the same so the become RIDCULOUSLY torn up. by the end of the game, the field is a joke. Stew
John Hall is overpaid, and often injured.
Love_Them_Dirtbags
Eventually we'll have a game where we need a 46-yard kick to win, and Hall's kick will fall short, and all of a sudden the Skins and all of us will be kicking ourselves for not signing a kicker with strength. Accuracy is great, but you need a kicker with accuracy and distance. That really isn't too much to ask from an NFL kicker.

Joe Sick
I don't get it. His sophomore season of college about 50% of his kickoffs went for touchbacks. Why can't he kick it that far now? Lower tee and they moved him five yards back, along with the "kickers balls." Wait, isn't that what caused John Hall to miss a few games last year...kickers balls? It's like turf toe, but WAY worse!
