glikster04
I know we still need depth at CB, with the loss of Harris...so when are we going to address this? I'm just curious...I may have missed something...:logo:
sitting bull
We don't need CB... we have already four good guy (Springs, Rogers, Wright and Jimoh + youngs players... like patterson , morton etc).
Zen-like Todd
The time to take a CB would have been in the 2nd round. Once you get to the 5th round, no one available is going to beat out our backups. We're looking for a future replacement for Springs, not depth. Skins11
CB is the easiest position to scout, so the good ones are usually gone at the end of the 2nd round.

IBleedBurgundy&Gold1369225669
I think we need to comb the released players and add some depth or we will regret it later. Ty LAW if we could afford him would make my day if he can stay healthy.
stram22
Kenny Wright started for the Jaguars last season and he'll be our nickel corner. We're fine at corner.

While all our CB's are injury prone, they are all fairly healthy too. Its not likely springs or rogers will be out of commission for more than 4 weeks during the season. I definately see us picking up a #1 or #2 corner through FA next year. If no starting caliber corners are available, then we know what our 1st rounder is for. Either way, we should be fine this year with what we have. Jimoh actually seems to be coming in to his own. If we had to start Jimoh and Wright for a couple weeks, I wouldn't be too too worried, unless we were playing the colts.

Add to that if the additions to the D-line turn out to have an impact (Carter and the DT's drafted), it'll help the performances of all the CBs...and believe it or not, I find myself enjoying seeing Jimoh's game improve slightly from one season to the next. He's hardly an answer, but he's upped his game (not that it could have gone down any further..lol) Quick question: Jimoh was undrafted, right? SkinsNeverDie
There are still decent CBs who were not drafted. Charles Gordan, and Anwar Phillips.
RDSKNfaithfull
Ty Law  He solves two needs Corner and Saftey If Sean Taylor goes down for any game we don't have a free saftey on the roster thats worth a ham sandwhich.

Ignatius J.
we are one injury away from a losing season right now. However a veteran pickup in FA will solve that. I can't imagine we're going into the season with this crew, and at the same time, we weren't in a position to fix our needs at CB in the draft. We have developmental CB's. We need a CB who can play. CPstretch
We have developmental CB's. We need a CB who can play. i agree. patterson and morton are not ready to play CB in the nfl right now. springs and rogers is an excellent tandem, when they are healthy. they proved last year to be a little brittle and we def. need a 4th legit CB to go along with the starters and kenny wright
dfos81
sorry guys, we lost Walt Harris and gained Kenny Wright. Plus I expect Rogers and the other young corners to be 1 yr better.
LT Smash
Kenny Wright started for the Jaguars last season and he'll be our nickel corner. We're fine at corner. yea but what happens when one of our top 3 gets injured(which they will)? our you really comfortable with ade jimoh as nickel and the next guy as dime? GW uses so many DB's and needs them to play so aggressive that he usually needs at LEAST 4 solid players, preferrably 5-6.

Don't you think if GW thought we needed a CB in this draft we would have drafted one instead of a LB or DT's? How can you sit here and pretend to know what the team knows better than the guys acutally coaching the team? Coaches know what they are doing
