cronos190
How is the 2nd round draft pick order determined?
TomK
It's the same order every round of the draft.
Mr. S
actually, I found out yesterday that tie-breaker picks are swapped, that's how a team could have the 8 pick in one round, the 7 in the next, and the 8 again in the third.
cronos190
So it changes year by year depending on the selection of the #1 pick? For example, when the Skins had the #5 overall pick, they also had the #5 in the 2nd round ?
TheNewU
yea the only other way it gets jumbled is al the pick trades
Peregrine
All picks are determined by the teams placement that year. Tiebreaker picks are swapped every other round(teams with the same record as another will see their picks fluctuate a pick or two because of this). The only reason other than that that teams have picks that dont fit with their placement is because they traded away or for the picks.
