nonniey
I think this would be a viable proposala and an excellent Idea. Redskins should offer the Texans next years 1st(360pts) and 06 pick #196 (14pts) for pick #98 (108pts) and the Texans 2d in 07 (265pts) and 7th in 07. We'de draft Max Jean Gilles (2d round tallent). He's the best remaining player plus the Texans have already drafted two OL so won't be looking at him. Next year I anticipate the Skins will improve while Texans will still be a bottom dweller. Heck we could be trading next years #32 for #33 in order to get this years #98. I'd take that risk anyday and twice on Sundays.
Warhead36
Who gives a 1st for a 4th? I'm sure we could trade our 5th and a 6th to move up in the 4th. Maybe throw in a 5th or 6th next year.
stwasm
Why don't we just hold on to the (REMAINING!) picks we have now and see how things shake down?
edgun88
NOOO! We need to stop trading away our next year picks, or else what happened this year is going to happen next year also. We will have 1 pick in 150 picks, which sucks. We already threw away our 2nd for next year.
CPstretch
yeah, lets keep our picks and stay content with where we are

MustangSteve
Why don't we just hold on to the (REMAINING!) picks we have now and see how things shake down? Im with ya, lets keep our #1 in 07 because we can fill the depth with what we have now.
RDSKNfaithfull
If we had the Eagles FO with Dan Snyders Money we would win the Superbowl every year. Giles is gone

Academic now, but did you read the plan? We'd have got the Texans #2 next year in that situation - Ie potentially it could have been trade of pick #32 for Pick #33. Joncevensen
how bout this, we take our medecine this year and have a small draft class, next year, we will have all our picks but our second and fourth, we can trade down in the first round to recover those picks, get a full boat of rookies, and then we can start feeding rookies into the pipeline as the veterans breakdown
seanyt
Why don't we just hold on to the (REMAINING!) picks we have now and see how things shake down? Exactly, it would have been so nice to have gone after some solid qaulity starters who you could realisticly see plugging in on day 1, as was the case with Lavar, and samuels. Just seems like theres so much speculation with the players we draft in the late rounds.
