Brother Redskin
On this site......rocky will win the poll. Carpenter was drafted earlier so he is better.J/K honestly I have not seen much of either but obviously hope rocky is better.
meetST
does it matter who we think is better right now? it's obviously goin to be biased.....after the season starts...the better linebacker will be obvious
dchogs
i have no idea. carpenter was more than solid for OSU, and i haven't seen much of rocky's play at the U.
Slacky McSlackAss
The cowboys got the better player, plain and simple. but its not enough for them to beat us.
H-O-G
Carpenter is better. Whoever votes McIntosh should be ignored for being a homer.

FootballGuy2677
I'd say Carpenter has the edge. I think this would actually be a fair poll if Roger McIntosh didnt have a injured knee question and we didnt draft him. But, I'm happy we got Roger McIntosh so w00t! Art
Carpenter is better. Whoever votes McIntosh should be ignored for being a homer. Interesting. It may be true Carpenter is better, but, I was reading NFL.com and saw Rocky was more highly rated. That may be one lone site, but I didn't know they were homers. ArmchairRedskin
Rocky is graded higher on NFL.com, Key. Did you see that? In fact, only two LB's that were taken higher were graded higher. Kinda interesting. Even if Rocky wasn't as good as Carpenter, Gregg Williams can take young nobody LB's and make them somebody's. Either way, I like our boy and I'm sure you like yours. Carry on. SkinsGuy
Doesn't matter which one is the bettr one NOW. What matters is which one will be the better one when they actually start playing in the NFL. In that case, it'll be McIntosh all the way cause he'll have Greg Williams and his coaches getting him ready.

Ignatius J.
eh, I don't know too much about them, so it's likely that carpenter is better, but as many have said that's not what is important. If McIntosh fits what Gdub wants to do he's going to be great in our system, and that's what matters. I'm thrilled we got who we wanted, and I'm not so bummed about losing yet another pick, we seem to like FA more. I just hope we address CB in FA before we enter the season. SkinsNeverDie
Lol, I voted Carpenter. Now who the better LB is in the FUTURE...gonna have to go with Rocky because of the great tradition we now have with grooming great LBs.

SackMachine
Hes playing in the redskin defense, if he sticks to his assignement he'll do great. And this is kind of an easy poll to vote on. Should have probably asked who was better between McIntosh and someone who won't be a cowboy next year.
diesel22
I am quick to point out when someone is being a ridiculous homer (just ask Wizard fans around here) Having said this, Carpenter is not nearly worth the pick the cowboys used on him. He is heavy footed, does not change direction well at all. Because of this you would assume that his game is more centered around power. Now, go check and see how many reps he did with 225. If you need a reference point, last yr @ my semi-pro team's "combine" I got 26 (and I was 212 lb)........and I don't hear my phone ringing from NFL GMs. Here is the point....the guy has a good motor and was a good college LB......but there is nothing about him that sticks out as "yea -- that will make him a star in the NFL"
MuDDSL1DE
Wow. Mcintosh is winning the poll right now. Although Carpenter did have AJ Hawk in the same backfield for the opponent to worry about I still believe he had a much bigger impact than Rocky did. Most of the people who voted for Rocky probably never noticed him during any Miami games they watched and simple voted for him because hes now a skin. :2cents: Lets hope 3 years from now this poll would be a joke and Mcintosh blows Carpenter out of the water at that time in their carrers.
