Streater101
I found it interesting to hear Gibbs speak about the possibly of getting Marcus after the QB more, and how he keeps referring to "players who can play all 3 downs" or "players who don't have to come out the game" *cough, Lavar*cough* Being a situational player is unacceptable for a player toting a contract as big as LA's. Gibbs and Williams seem to put a pretty high value on players with versatility, as evident with a guy like Prioleau who is a saftey, but played quite a bit at nickel back last year, Pierce, a converted weakside backer to MLB, Marshall, a converted weakside backer to middle, Taylor - who can pretty much do everything, Carter, who will probably rush passer as an OLB in some 3-4 schemes. GW didn't start Taylor or Rogers outright, so I'm not exactly expecting Rocky to jump in immediately, but if(when) he cracks the starting lineup, I think he could do really big things for our defense. Right!!!Rocky could come in and man the Mike, Will or even the Sam while Marcus lines up to rush the passer. It just gives GW more packages, he loves those packages....
CapitalDefense
What did he say?He said that they wanted Rocky and after Ryans and Jackson were picked 33 and 34 that thy needed to move up because he would not have been there at #53. Joe said he is super smart, can play all 3 LB positions, and was a good special teams player as well. A guy that can play alot of different spots for us. They are glad they got him and you have to give up somthing to get something in return.

Fred Jones
Gibbs never mentioned McCune. I wonder if he is still in the plans for the future?
