jbooma
Well we drafted the player to replace LA but now for the skins the draft is over. I do hope one year that we would keep picks so we can stock up some depth like our rivals seem to do every year. This is one of the deepest drafts in a long time and we have one pick in the first 150 selections.
Major Harris
apparently, the draft is over rated. picks are like baseball cards. but i trust gibbs, he won 3 rings with this approach.
Streater101
The Campbell pick last year confused me (since I thought Pat was our guy, but we all know how that turned out...) but I still thought it was a solid pick for our teams future. This is the first draft since Gibbs has been back that I walk away a little disappointed, I really, I mean REALLY thought we were makin a run at JW. Tell that to Pittsburgh that drafted 17 of their starting 22 players of last years superbowl team. Do not get me wrong I trust Gibbs and Co however we do eventually need to add cheap depth to this team, and the best way to do it is the draft. LT Smash
im all for gettin rocky, thats who i thought we were gonna end up with, but im bummed we had to give up a pair of 2nd round picks. thats rough. and by the way, the drafts not over yet. we have some picks to go for depth or take a chance on some guys tomorrow
playoffsplz
It's obvious we are trying to win RIGHT NOW...not later. This year i'm not worried about it, but we keep giving away draft pics over the next 2/3 yrs we're in trouble. so far so good....GO ROCKY!:applause:

bertoskins
Draft is not yet over as Joe Gibbs said, drafts is won with the later round picks and also the undrafted, because high picks also drains salary cap (which we don't have) hail to skins hail to gibbs

CapitalDefense
Yes they have used alot of draft picks the last few years to fill some glaring holes. Look at this team right now there are no holes remaining unless Hall hurts his leg again. This team is set for the next few years at all the starting positions. I think the trade that brought us Rocky will be the last one involving draft picks for a while. The next few years we will keep all of our draft picks to solidify some depth and get younger at a few aging positions such as DE.

The starting positions yes, but not if they go down, which is why rounds 2-5 are critical in the draft to get depth.

Plus, we added a few undrafted free agents that got some good playing time.
MuDDSL1DE
This year I hope all the players taken on the second day of the draft will actually be good enough to make the team this year. Also hope to at least get some quality practice squads guys from the undrafted players. Do you guys think we'll try and draft Jai Lewis or hope he goes undrafted and get him that way? Unless I've missed something, he didn't declare for the draft, so I don't think he is eligible to be drafted. Seems to me he will have to be a FA pickup. It would be nice if the leauge would allow 4 more players to a roster so that teams can have depth at more positions. We definately need depth at a PK considering Hall has had some serious issues the last 2 years and isnt getting any younger. All its going to take is one good hit on him and limbs are gonna be falling off on the field
