ESPN: Packers grant WR Walker permission to seek trade

Dirk Diggler

The most ridiculous thing I have read in the last week was that Banner, after receiving an extension, wants to remain aggressive. I hate the Feables with every fiber of my being, but that made even me a little angry. Aggressive? What the hell is this guys definition of passive? Large market, loyal fan base, new stadium, ton's of cap space and MINIMAL action. If I were from philly I would have jumped off a bridge a long time ago. Of course, I would have done it to ensure that there would be one less person from philly on this planet. ;)

Not saying Walker is anything like TO, but would the Eagles wanna deal with another WR who demanded a trade from thoer former team and as previously rumored, McNabb pushing hard for the player??? I don't think Walker would cause the drama that TO cause, just a thought. Also, I agree with Dirk, if they don't go for it,wtf are they doing?

What Chunky wants, Chunky gets.

It would be a good pick up for them, but GB had better not let themselves get suckered. Philly is sure to lowball them, especially with the guy coming off a major injury.

This seems really stupid for the Pack to consider this in the wake of Favre's announcement to return. Who do they plan to throw the ball to anyway? Rod Gardner? They're not likely to pick anyone up in the draft who will contribute right away.

The more I think about it, the worse than sounds for GB. And these teams really need to stop helping out the Eagles anyway. They're just making it harder on themselves in the long run. Trade him OUT of the conference.
