Staylor21
I would like to know why we haven't went after this dude Brenston Buckner we do need some help there and Griff and Sal get injuries alot and Brenston is a solid vet who would bring leadership and is real good. ibrahim
You know, that IS a good point. Didn't realise he was still on the market.
skinz4evr
Maybe we're saving 15 or 20 dollars for the Draft....
Kosher Ham
Because he is old, pricey, and somewhat injury prone over recent years.
Oldskool
The panthers let him go for a reason. He's been talking about retiring for several years now and it may be that he just doesnt have the passion for the game anymore.

Old and Expensive. He also might not have the passion for the game that he used to have. John Fox is a smart guy and would not have let Buckner go if he didn't have some questions about his ability to produce.
Kosher Ham
I read that the Giants are interested in him, but wont persue him until after the draft.

bobzmuda
Probably the whole shoe kissing thing. What a gomer. Heaven forbid that he would do something goofy like that or dress up! :redpunch: Also, I thought I read somewhere that Buckner isn't the best lockerroom guy. GaryClark4Canton
Shoe kissing? :paranoid: Who was kissing who's shoes? Did I miss something? Buckner kisses his shoes before everygame, superstitious reasons... GC
GiantsFanMan
Buckner should be a good depth guy. If he still wants to play football anyway.
Xcrement4brains
He may be old and want too much money but he won the big man dance-off hands down. Lets throw a pile of cash at him.
red zone
Dude has a very funny way about him. He and Ken Norton Jr. would always go at it on NFL Total Access. His best days however, appear well behind him. No thanks.
CPstretch
he is very old. but since no one has signed him, i would imagine he would sign for cheap
Staylor21
i don't think money is the issue the reason why the Panthers released him was due to age thats why they went after young DT tackles such as Lewis from Rams and M.K. from Baltimore but yeah man i would try and snag him away from Giants

freeseantaylor2k6
Buckner would be overpriced for how much he has left in the tank. Even though the skins do not have the money to make the move, Grady Jackson would have been a great pick up. He is a massive run stopper and would give Griffin more of a chance to get into the backfield.
