MossIsDaBoss
Just wondering what you guys thought about this. How much of an effect do you think this will have on us? I'm not sure how much of an impact Pierce made on us when he went to the Giants, but judging from that 1st meeting of the '05 season, it made quite a difference. Now with Arrington on their side will the Giants offense be able to do this to us again?
ouvan59
Lavar would have to learn it first. Pierce might be able to fill him in.
skinfan2k
Lavar would have to learn it first. Pierce might be able to fill him in. Very funny, but still.. this is the 2nd year in a row where we lost a legitmate member from our defense to go to a rival inside our division.. GW needs find a way to exploit Lavar's Ass
renegademrnate23
He won't give them away....he doesnt know them!!! HOWEVER...my prediction....he will be the one to deliver the blow that ends Brunnell's career. Mark my words....and dont get me wrong, I dont want it to happen, I am just saying, I can see it now. Anyone want to bet me on this????????????? :gaintsuck :gaintsuck :gaintsuck :gaintsuck :gaintsuck
StevieInferior
I think that this is one of the most overstated fears by fans. Who cares if he does. He really can not say anything that coaches won't pick up on film anyways. With all the film avaliable and quality control in the league, the coaches all know what we are going to do. It comes down to execution and nothing Lavar or Antonio says will affect how well --or bad-- we execute what we want to do.
ouvan59
GW needs find a way to exploit Lavar's Ass I assume you mean Al Saunders but I agree. How many bootlegs, reverses and counters do you think they will run in the first 5 minutes of our first game against the Giants? Look for Sellars to have a huge game. GW needs find a way to exploit Lavar's Ass I was thinking the same...instead of them being tipped off to our O, maybe we can expose our former LBs. Especially Lavar. With Saunders in as the new OC, I am not too worried about Lavar and AP having the inside edge on our play calling either.

I'd pat you on the back for that one but I bet your hand is in the way. Just so you know, that was probably the first thought in everyones head when they read the title of the thread, congrats on being first to post it. Good job Ace. MCnDaHouse
Good point about Saunders. The offense will be different schemes. I'm sure the defense will have evolved too and it won't be a factor. MC

oriolesfan93p
I would love for LaVar to try to give out our defensive schemes, it would be the best thing ever for their offense to go off what Lavar thinks was supposed to be happening.... StevieInferior
Ok the mods are gettinga little overzealous with moving the threads...OMG OMG a Lavar thread over it to Around the NFL...sorry guys this topic IS directly Redskins related.
Loyal2Washington
It didn't help the Gints, with Pierce, the second time we played them last year. Coaches ALWAYS add wrinkles and change language in the event, which in today's NFL is very likely, that you face a former player or coach. You got to remember we are only 2-2 since Grif left the Gnats and came here. This is the most exaggerated fear amongest fans. :dallasuck :gaintsuck :eaglesuck

Yeah, maybe Synder paid him big money under the table to go to a team in the NFC east and destroy their defense from within:silly: What a great move that would be!!! TaylorPainTrain
I guess I would look to our second game vs the Giants in 2005 at Fedex. Our coaching staff did a great job getting the offense and defense ready for the Giants. I imagine they did everything possible to make sure the outcome would be nothing like the first meeting. If I had to bet, I would say our staff will do an even better job this year getting the 'Skins ready for the Giants. HTTR.

Xameil
I think it would be funny if they line up ST against LA...let Taylor get his aggressions out on LA for a play or two. He's lined up at WR once...let him line up at TE for a play, and jack LA.
