Hey guys. Capt. rich here. just a little update on the offshore fishing. Our latest tournament was in the Bahamas, at port Lucaya (Freeport). The fishing there SUCKED. WE managed to catch one blue marlin for 300 points. team Galoti got lucky with 3 sails and a white for 400 pts. 100 for sails and whites, 300 for blues. We shouldnt have fished there. Team american steamed all the way back to miami to live bait for sails. If they would have been biting there like the week before it would have been a good idea. its like 130 miles away. the weather got nasty the last 2 days. It was just a bad place to have a tournament. some company paid alot of money to have it there to promote some condo deal on walkers cay and chub cay. I'd personally like to see us stop selling houses and start fishing again. In places where there is alot of fish. It sucks getting your ass beat in the ocean for nothing. We chartered CERVESA for that one. Me and Capt Charlie had alot of fun. Our first mate Mikey didn't sleep the whole time we were there. It's also spring break there, so he was running the ladies pretty hard. you'll notice his sun glasses never came off to reveal the blood shot Jeagermiester eyes. I tried to leave Venezuala this week to go to st thomas and prep the sharkys for provo on may 5. broke down twice and had to return to venez. all electronics are shot. motors need professional help. a voltage problem i think. we probably will have to charter another boat for this next one too. we'll get her right though. just cost the boss alot of money though. you know what they say about boats. a hole in the water you throw money into. well these bigger boats leave a much bigger hole in the water. Rob said he would be proud to fly a skins flag at the dock for espn and all the skins fan to see so i'd also like to see where i could find an Extremeskins flag for the rigger as well.
