Guest santana4prez
A Cowboys - Ravens Blockbuster Trade? By Mike Fisher TheRanchReport.com Date: Apr 21, 2006 IRVING, TX - The Cowboys' search for penthouse talent at basement prices recently caused them to listen to speculative trade talks that included the names of three of the dominant defensive players in the game, including Pro Bowl safety Roy Williams. Scout.com: A Cowboys - Ravens Blockbuster Trade? Had to put this in the stadium because this is big news for Redskins fans as well.
LT Smash
ugh. my two least favorite teams in the whole world. oh and the yankees. so what would the trade be?
Guest santana4prez
Dont have the Scout.com article because im not a member but I here it involves a possible Greg Ellis and Roy Williams for Ray Lewis and Ed Reed deal. I dont care , bring it Cowboys!!!!!! Santana and Portis will beast em. I do think there has to be more to this trade. No way would the Ravens trade Lewis and Reed for that. skinfan2k
so what are they talking about? dealing roy williams to bmroe for what ray lewis? It would be nice for roy williams to team up with a good safety like ed reed.
fdarugar
Whoa...I'll bet nothing ever happens though.

Vi
Wow, Dallas seems to be going after the troubled players this offseason like no one's business. Trying to be shocked... but failing. I don't see this happening. Ray Ray and Ed Reed are beasts, but really, what else does Baltimore have going for them? Been wrong before though. skinsfan999
That makes no sense. Why would Baltimore trade the best safety in the NFL for an overatted one?
Dirk Diggler
This is just silly on multiple fronts. Lewis wants nothing to do with the 3-4 taking on guards. Reed alone would command RW + the Cowboys 1st.
RWJ
Be nice if HeHateMe would post the article. I would think he is a member.
fdarugar
I really don't see how a deal could be reached involving players with huge salaries like Williams, Lewis, and Reed...it would kill alot of cap.
Slacky McSlackAss
Because baltimore is filled with idiots. Plain and Simple.

Ray Ray and TO would be fighting in 3 hours after the deal is done anyways.:dallasuck  Yeah, it's kinda like when the Raiders were talking about TO. R. Moss... and TO... on the same field... at the same time. The world would end as we know it.
Warhead36
The Ravens would be getting completely screwed in the ass. This would never happen, unless there were draft picks involved from Dallas's side. Besides I don't think Ray Lewis wants to play in a 3-4 anymore. MustangSteve
I wouldnt trade Reed alone for Roy Williams, much less then throw in Ray Lewis. At least I dont think there coach is hanging on them Baltimore streets buying dime bags all day.
Ax
Swell. It still should probably be in the Around The NFL forum. Or the Sci-Fi channel.
Hooper
Ed Reed is maybe the best defensive player in the league. Williams is very good, but can't cover at all and Ray Lewis's best years are behind him. There is no way this trade happens.
CPstretch
you have got to be kidding me. why would they give up ray AND ed for roy? this makes no sense

Guest santana4prez
you have got to be kidding me. why would they give up ray AND ed for roy? this makes no sense I agree but I talked to DallasArmor22 and he thinks its a bad trade for the Cowboys b/c Ray is getting older and Reed played like crap last season. I told him their is no way the Cowboys pull off this BS trade unless the Ravens are complete idiots. 700th post joking Boys & Ravens players and fans.... I love it!!!!! You aint kidding, I would love to see Ed Reed playing for our defense, dont even think about throwing a pass into our secondary.
CPstretch
ed reed is still one of the best. they would not trade him plus their franchise MLB, even though he is getting up there in age, for a horsecollaring safety. it just cant happen
