visionary
http://www.cnn.com/2006/POLITICS/04/21/mollohan.ap/index.html "WASHINGTON (AP) -- The top Democrat on the House ethics committee, Alan Mollohan, will leave the panel -- at least temporarily -- while he defends his own financial conduct, Democratic leader Nancy Pelosi said Friday. Mollohan's decision comes in an election year when his party is accusing majority Republicans of allowing a "culture of corruption" in Congress." Mass_SkinsFan
A DEMOCRAT on an ETHICS committee?!?!?!?! That had to have been a mistake to begin with. Democrats wouldn't know morals, values or ethics under any circumstances. Unlike the Republicans who at least pay lip service to the concepts whenever they need to get themselves re-elected. Larry
Corruption runs through politics like 151 runs through me, doesn't matter which party just about all of them are dirty as sin. Are you saying that 151 runs rampant throughout your system, permeating every single fiber of the body, doing nasty long-term damage to your future and your childrens futures, making you do things that are most often stupid, often embarasing, and occasionally criminal? Teller
Hey, as long as we're getting rid of WV legislators, can I nominate Bobby "Pork Barrell" Byrd? Dude got a Coast Guard base for a COMPLETELY land-locked state. He's out of control. (And half senile if you've heard him speak lately.) If this is true, Mollohan needs to resign immediately. Funnelling millions to "NPOs," who return said money to keep you in office is the definition of corruption. Isn't it, Ms. Pelosi? Nah, not when the person involved has a "D" after his name. It might still happen. Don't assume anything. It took months to get rid of DeLay, and he stunk like week old crab shells in a hot Ocean City dumpster. The guy is booted of the Ethics committee first (err resigned). Let's see where it goes.

Back in the day, Senator Kerr managed to get the Army Corps of Engineers to make Tulsa a deep-water, oceangoing, international port.
