If you were in charge...

...for the rest of the offseason, what moves would you make? Including trades, signings, drafting, etc, what would you do?

I'd trade this years 2nd and next years 2nd for a late first rounder to take Cromartie, resign Lavar (a la Patriots with Troy Brown), draft Marcus Vick if he's still around in the 5th, lower parking, keep Antonio Brown (which I know will get heat, but I think having a player specifically for KR and nothing else is important), and hire Mike Grieco to DJ the draft party.

antonio brown for kr? We got Randle EL!

understandably, but i really think brown is underrated. i feel like this board really throws it to him. he is nothing short of explosive, and if he can work on his decision making skills on punts, and ball carrying, he could be HUGE...

#1: I would trade next years first and second to get around the late teens, that way the Brokeback boys and Chiefs dont get a chance to steal Cromartie.

#2: Draft Best LB available, DE Kiwanuka, or OL Lutui going down that progression if one group is taken @ pick #53

#3: draft/sign kicker and punter for training camp competition

#4: tell taylor jacobs, james thrash, and david patten to renegotiate their contracts or they will be cut.... just to give us some room...

#5: hire Mike Grieco in advance to come to our superbowl party.... being held at ST's house

#6: find an undrafted QB, and put him on our practice squad, and groom him, so that in a few years he can compete with Bramlet for the #3 spot

#7: give Lavar a slimfast and tell him to never come back to DC again..... we can make due w/o him....

#8: give the guy that put the thought bubbles into the redskins.com video a HUGE bonus

I would give JC a bit more time.... Brunell is 36, Campbell is 25..... Campbell has plenty of time to develop into a great player..... if he can even give half as many good seasons as brunell did in his career i will be happy

campbell is 24 i believe...

So you are keeping 5 QBs on the roster and practice squad? We've got 3 guys we know are going to be here (Brunell, Collins, Campbell) and you want to keep Bramlet and another guy on the practice squad?

yeah, this board does throw it to him......and he doesn't catch it

I like the idea of trading up and grab a great player to get him some experience. Think about it, we already have a whole lot of good players, if we get a few slick puckups in the draft, our final 53 player roster this year will be incredible. Not to mention the stacked coaching staff. Next years draft will be alright, but not many players will stand out compared to this year. Plus we all know that experience is crucial....get 'em in now and our team will be beast for years to come.

Those are some irresponsible moves... and I love it!

:applause:

I like Antonio but Randle El would be my choice to return kicks. Adding to the list:

With second day picks try to pick up:

Gerald Riggs Jr. RB Tennessee

Tom Malone P USC

With rvan1's moves and those two late picks, I'd be pretty stoked.

I'd stand pat, hold on to the picks I have, using that second-round pick for either D'Quell Jackson (if he falls to us) or Rocky McIntosh. The rest of the picks I'd use for depth purposes along the offensive and defensive lines.

If we keep Brown, what position do you propose we go light on?

Oops, just noted that we can go with 6 wr and may not need to go light anywhere.

It's a good thing some of these people don't run this team!

Our lineup on offense is pretty much set. We need OL depth which can be filled in the draft. A good, young TE could start on this team and the draft is loaded with talent at this position.

Our lineup on defense is pretty much set. We need CB depth which can still be filled in free agency. A good, young LB could start on this team. We could also use a good young DE.

Our special teams are solid with Randall El. We could use a punter for competition.

We only need to be lucky with injuries, protect the ball and get another good year from Brunell at QB to really contend.
