Guest mwill008
NFL Network is reporting that the Texans might not take Bush. Which would upset the whole draft for lot of these draft experts. First thought is that alot good players might fall deep in the later rounds. Any thoughts?
Skins4481
I just heard that too. Personally, I think he is way too much of a risk at number 1. He cant be a full time RB. But he also is a phreak of nature. Either way, it doesnt effect us at all.
TheTotalPackage
i think it would be absurd to even contemplate that it would help us. unless we moved up considerably, #53 is so far down that everything else would balance itself out by the time we got to picking. kevinklein
Of course the Texans might not take Bush...but it isn't likely.

fdarugar
I don't really understand how it could help us but I think it will make for an interesting situation...I think the Jets and Texans should swap picks, Texans get a 2nd rounder, select DBrick and the Jets take Bush. Guest ComebackKing
How is a first pick in the first draft going to affect us? Tell Me? I'm curious? We play Houston next year. Their first round choice could decide the game. LOL
Guest mwill008
if the Texans don't take Bush, it might cause someone Vince Young to fall out the top ten. If that happens maybe DB like Jimmy Williams or Tye Hill could fall to the 2nd round and we could try to move up to get one of them.
chaz13
How is a first pick in the first draft going to affect us? Tell Me? I'm curious? That's what I'm wondering. The Texans best player is probably D. Davis who they signed to a big extension last year. I can't believe that Casserly after all those years w/ the skins winning w/ a great offensive line, has one of the worst in football. They should trade down take Ferguson and fill some other holes w/ the other picks. What's the point of having a great RB w/ a horrible OL. He won't last 5 years w/ that line. Ok so reshuffle the deck and tell me who will magically fall to #53 because vince young went in 20th instead of 9th? Without us moving up how does this affect us? Edit: I sound like a dick here but Im not trying to be. We have the 53rd pick in the draft and not much after that. Why does everyone think that we are moving up? Im not asking to hear myself I'd like to see what everyone else is seeing.... :whoknows:
Cskin
That's one player out of the top 50.... how on earth does that affect what the Redskins do at #53? Bush is going somewhere in the top 5... still no impact on the Redskins. Sure... someone who might otherwise would have been targeting a RB in Rd #2 and is currently in the top 5 is now going to draft Bush and probably something else in the second round.... but determining the impact on the Redskins is nearly impossible. UltimateSkins
Why does Reggie Bush have to be part of another runningback tandom? I want Bush in every single play. Barry Sanders was never forced into a platoon situation.

First thought is that alot good players might fall deep in the later rounds. Any thoughts? They might be in the same situation the Bengals were in, with David Klingler. The investment they sunk into David Carr, & given time for development, they really need to build their team with other positions. there's a lot of holes to fill in Houston. & David Carr throws a nice ball. Give him a line, & more weapons, & you should see him do a lot better.:logo: (P.S.):dallasuck
MidwayMonster31
I think that they worked too hard to get this spot, so they will take Bush.

D'Brick is a good player, but the texans would be stupid to pick him as their first round pick. Last year, the Texans were so bad in SO many aspects, that they need to draft a gamechanging position for thier first rounder. ONE offensive lineman cannot make a difference in a line as bad as the Texans. What their line needs is some big, decent vets, and some good coaching. Judging from the broncos, it seems like kubiak can make a decent o line. But in my mind, D'Brick is definatly not the way to go for the texans.
