Dblaze1119
Isnt he more of a pass rusher than a run stopper? Do you think he is going to have a huge impact on our D this year?
Lil Kenzo
He should have a nice impact on our Defense next year. Pass-rush is what we lacked for the better part of last seaosn.

Carter is a better player than Demetric Evans, our other prodimenently pass rushing Defensive end.
Sailskipper
I agree. Untill the end of the season when Daniels went wild we never got to the quarterback. With Carters tallent we should have much more success on defense now. a qb cant throw when he is on his back.

By the way, there are rules to the size of pictures in your signature, im not sure if your aware of this, and im not sure if your pic is too big, but a little smaller cant hurt. UltimateSkins
Carter put up 13 sacks a few years back so I don't see why he wouldn't be able to do the same thing for us, especially in a Gregg Williams defense.
Enter Apotheosis
If Carter stays healthy he will be absolutely amazing for us as a pass-rusher. He'll make an impact early on, mark my words.

sabadahabada
An effective pass rush leads to fumbles and more importantly interceptions. It forces the QB to make bad decisons and well, rush the pass. I am confident that if Carter lives up to his billing we will not have the same problem we had last season of not being able to force many turnovers and it will take our defense to an even higher level. Enter Apotheosis
Why is he injury prone? Last season he had a mediocre performance playing out of his natural position, the season before his season got cut short by a back injury, and the season before that he had 12.5 sacks as a DE. planter
Nevermind. Skins can always use a major pass rusher.
fdarugar
Carter will prove to be the best pick up of the offseason, this guy is a huge talent and Williams will use him perfectly.
SkinsNeverDie
Carter is a good pass-rusher that was used as a 3-4 LB in San Fran. He was the 7th overall pick in the 2002 draft. He put up 12.5 sacks one year, but has been moved to OLB and got a bit of injury problems. I expect nothing less then 10 sacks from him this season. MisterPinstripe
Hopefully he will be able to apply a lot of pressure. That is why he was brought in I think.

Why did the size of his sig bother you? You get beat up alot in school, don't you? Cough...snitch...cough cough. As for the subject at hand, I think that Carter is the answer to the one question mark that we had on defense. With the addition of his talents, skies the limit for our defense in 06. Dirk Diggler
If he can stay healthy, I think Andre Carter will challenge Marcus Washington, Cornelius Griffin, Ken Harvey, and Henry Ellard among the best acquisitions in Skins free agent history. I think he can be that good.

I actually told him the same thing about his sig in another thread...lol...I did so because you can lose your sig privilidges if you don't adhere to the rules (kinda like, "If you can't be bothered to read what the rules are around here, you don't deserve to have the priviledges"). It was a friendly warning from one ES member to another...

freeseantaylor2k6
First of all, I think the Sean Taylor pic is hillarious, keep up the good work. Second, Carter has a much higher upside than any of the other defensive ends on the roster right now. Wynn is a solid player and so is Daniels, but there arent many teams in the league afraid of the pass rush coming from the line. Carter had 13 sacks with the 9ers in 2002, and the skins have a much better defense than that team did. I would be very surprised if he was not one of the team leaders in sacks next season.
