CaseyJones7
MIAMI GARDENS — Alfonso Soriano has smacked plenty of game-winning home runs and hits. But of all the swings he has taken in his career, it's a life-saving foul ball that gives him the most joy. "I think God blessed me,'' Soriano said Friday in the Washington Nationals' clubhouse at Dolphin Stadium, "because I never thought I'd save somebody's life with a foul ball. That's amazing. Unbelievable.'' http://www.palmbeachpost.com/marlins/content/sports/epaper/2006/04/16/a7b_capozzi_0416.html

jwebst1
unreal... reminds me of the Tony Gonzalez story... at least I think it was Tony Gonzalez... the Chiefs were playing the Niners in SF when Gonzalez (I really think it's him, but anyway) caught a pass along the sidelines and collided with a man... the man fell backwards and hit his head, sending him to the hosptial. When they did a scan of the man's head at the hospital, they found a tumor... the collision saved his life.
