Bhutanibeast
Today, as a part of the redskins marathon, the NFL network shows the game between the skins and the seahawks from 2003 when Rod Gardner threw the game-winning touchdown pass. There were some nostalgic feelings that overcame me but i just thought it was funny how Spurrier actually thought that his Oline pass protection system would actually worked. Ramsey was getting hammered every play and they show him after the game. He was limping like hell. Also, Spurrier decided to go for it on fourth down on his own 25 yard. Possibly the stupidest decision i have ever seen made on a football field! Just shows me how much this franchise has changed for the better. timoito36
Was that the game where Coles forced a fumble on the 1 yard line, that saved a touchdown, then later pulled a nasty double move on Trufant for a 60 yard gain?
thelarkascend1ng
that game was pretty ridiculous. i mean, it was inspiring to see a victory, but it's just SUCH a different team. i'm very grateful that i get to say that it feels like a LONG time ago. RabidFan
Ramsey sure holds onto the ball and taps it a lot....i love the kid but man he couldn't hit people in stride when they break open....like the missed TD lob to Ware......after watching Doug Williams effortless deep balls and fades from the program before recapping the 87 SB....its night and day. Fare thee well Ramsey, you're a good kid.

Maggio
Was that the game where Coles forced a fumble on the 1 yard line, that saved a touchdown, then later pulled a nasty double move on Trufant for a 60 yard gain? After watching that today, I am sad to say that it was on Springs, though Springs did pick off Ramsey (it was called back). Man, I forgot how bad Ramsey was that year (more an indictment of Spurriers scheme), but in that series, he threw two picks, and two almost picks. BigRay
Spurrier is and was an idiot I never cared for him anyway because of his arrogance he continued to try to make things work when things just didn't, I think that was one of the worst moves in the franchise history when he became the coach. carlsbadd
Rock getting the first down on a 4th and short from our own 35  Jurgy says "thats what happens when you have lost 5 straight you go for it" I have that on tape somehwere. it was a pretty good game overall. The best part is the sideline chatter between Hasselback and his team mates, Hasselback is worried about where Lavar is lining up. His team mate trying to calm him down. Fun stuff all around. Also note that Spurrier did not call the offense during that game.

I went to that game and as we were walkin in, i told my dad that the skins were gunna give the ball to Gardner and he was gunna throw a td for the win and my dad was like "HA! In your dreams":

DCsportsfan53
I saw that, too. It was almost surreal to watch, a completely different world. Watching the blocking schemes, wow, just wow, how ridiculous. Half the time lineman didn't know where to be, they were looking anxiously for people to block, not knowing where to be. And the 4th and 1 from your own 25? WTF kind of coaching decision is that? It was a really wierd experience watching that, it's amazing how much a team can change in a few years. Bhutanibeast
It was great. Almost as funny as watching our anemic offense during the 2004 season.... Just a little redskins humor. Ha
Dweezel
and the HB blocking the defensive lineman. He even commented about it. I just chuckled.
MGRedskins
I was home sick this week and was in my glory yesterday. I think i watched NFL channel for 10 hrs. I loved the game and my hubby and I were at that game. It was nice seeing the Redskins in their glory for once. Hopefully they can get it going this year. Tastes Like Chicken
Lavar telling someone to stay in their gap, is like me encouraging the consumption of non-alcoholic beverages on gameday.
