trez
As I was headed out this morning, before I turned off Sportsrise they said that coming up they'd have a segment where Ramsey gave his thoughts about the skins, now that he's with the jets. skinfan2k
he basically said how in washington he was invovled in every situation and has learned alot from his experience.. Rookie- coming off the bench and sparkin the team in Tenn and how to handle that 2nd year- becoming a starter and how to handle training camp as a starter and then getting injuired 3rd- becoming brunell backup and then mark getting pulled and him trying to earn his job back 4th- learning to backup brunell basically i summed up for the 4 years here in washington

trez
I feel kinda bad for Ramsey...I'm not saying he was going to be the answer to our QB problems, but I don't think he ever got a fair shake from Gibbs.

The only thing he should have added is that he was the "crash course dummy" for the rest of the league while Spurrier was here.

I respectfully disagree with statements like "I feel bad for Ramsey". Why should you?! He plays in a cut throat sport where a returning Hall of Fame coach watched enough game film and live action to know that he wasn't the guy to lead this team. Whoever said life was fair doesn't work in the world of professional sports. Can we please get past the "old girlfriend" phase of PR and LA sometime before the draft?? The sooner you move on, the better off you'll be.

Dos't my ears decieve me? Are you doubting Coach Gibbs? He's infallible. I like Patrick too, but if he got a "fair shake" from Gibbs, we wouldn't have made the playoffs. If you think otherwise, you're kidding yourself.
AKM311
What the hell is a fair shake? Does anyone work in America? I work for a company that screws me every year, because I am young and I do a job that usually 30 year old people do. I get looked upon like a kid who doesn't know what hes doing, but I do just as good as the rest of them. I am in sales, but you have to EARN your opportunity and PRam never did. He was given the opportunity at hand, but I never saw him once EARN it. So we all need to stop falling for the player, and trust that the best players are on the field! And how do you know that Ramsey wouldn't have gotten us to the playoffs??? Got that crystal ball workin' huh? I am one that also doesn't believe that he got a fair shake. However, I do trust in the coach and hope that we get it done with the qbs that we have in the stable.
