Go down to the link on the homepage that links to the unofficial mock draft. For obvious reasons, the mock draft will not be updated overnight as I will be sleeping. Did it happen already or is it going to happen? I've looked all over the site and didn't see anything about it. Edited: Pick a team you would like to be in a mock draft. We will do three, maybe four rounds. I don't think we will have enough time to do all seven since we have less than three weeks until the draft. I think the best thing to do is pick the top five teams you want. Whoever responds first will get the team in order who is not selected. If additional choices are needed, I will PM you. The rules I will use are simple: 1. Request teams you wish to be. 2. When assigned your team, try to do research so your picks will go faster. 3. When the draft beings, you will have 12 hours in which to make your pick or you automatically get Barry Sanders. Ok, maybe not. I will make the pick for you if you do not make it in the allotted time. 4. Forget the Giants, they are already mine. 5. The draft will begin when all 32 teams are accounted for. 6. We'd hoped to be able to bring that feature back again this year, but due to circumstances related to the merger were ultimately unable to arrange it in time. We invite you or anyone who'd like to run an "unofficial" mock to do so, however. If there's enough interest, we'll be happy to work with you on the logistics. I had a blast the past two seasons being in charge of the Arizona Cardinals and Kansas City Chiefs. Saying that it personally got intense and competitive for me is a huge understatement. I had to hold back so many times from telling fellow Extremeskins members where to go via Private Message in the midst of working out trade negotiations....lol. It was all in good fun though. I thoroughly understand and accept the fact that the powers can't bring us this feature this season to the site. I really hope that we see it back in the future. It's icing on the cake for what is already the best website ever. With that being said, I personally can't commit myself to taking over a team this season due to my teaching (work) related responsibilities. For the mock to work really well, people who sign up have to be 100% devoted to investing the time in it. There's nothing worse than not having trade inquiries responded to by GMs until 6 days after you express interest. That was really frustrating, but for the most part was something that the majority of GMs avoided, thankfully. I wish those who take part in the unofficial mock good luck. It will be a fun way to get up to speed on the draft and researching what a team needs. It will also be very interesting to see how the real draft goes and how ours compares. So count me in.
