Warhead36
Dari asked Porter if he wanted TO on the team and he emphatically shouted HELL NO. He was then asked what his outlook is on TO as a teammate and said I HAVE NONE.

Shotgunner
Sounds about right. TO is a cancer and its well documented.
Bryan_Randall
For exactly how much time has Jerry Porter been teammates with TO? None at all? He needs to shut up.
Die Hard
For exactly how much time has Jerry Porter been teammates with TO? None at all?He needs to shut up. For a little perspective.... you should tell people you're a Cowboys fan. Thanks.
Big Weirdo
For a little perspective.... you should tell people you're a Cowboys fan. Thanks. Actually Bryan sort of has a point. How would Jerry Porter know about TO? He's never even played with the guy. And for a little perspective. I'm an Eagles fan. And TO destroyed my favorite team. I'm an Eagles fan. And TO destroyed my favorite team. If you want to prove Bryan's point... how long have you been a teammate's of T.O. Ever been in the lockerroom with him? Ever practice with him? Is that really the point? Do you need to be in the lockerroom to know he divided 2 franchises.... where he's been released twice DESPITE his enormous talent? What about all his press conferences? What about the public quotes FROM his teammates? Do you honestly think that players don't work out together in the offseason? At the Pro Bowl? Do you not think that players talk to one another about topics like T.0.? Seriously? Players, coaches, etc in the NFL all talk to each other. They all know all the rumors about who's sleeping with whom, who's a cancer in the lockerroom, practice habits... you name it. You don't have to be confined to a lockerroom with a player for 365 days to know what they're about.
Big Weirdo
I completely agree with what you're saying Die Hard. But I still don't feel like Jerry Porter would know whether or not TO is a good team mate. Sure, he can look back at the Eagles and 49ers and make that assumption. But how would he ever really know without playing with the guy? Seems a bit too judgemental. People can change. The third time is a charm, you know. Or at least thats what they say. On a lesser note. Why in the hell did someone ask Jerry Porter this question anyway? People are obsessed with TO. PS: A lot of the guys in the Eagle locker room have said they liked TO and still do like him. Only a few have come out and said he was a huge problem. Sheldon Brown and McNabb (obviously) come to mind. But Trotter, Dawkins and Westbrook are still friends with TO. So he's not as much of a cancer as a lot of people think.
Bryan_Randall
Jerry Porter has as much knowledge on Terrell Owens the teammate as I do; NONE AT ALL. So why should anyone care about his opinion? The Eagles players who were calling for Philly to reinstate TO speaks much louder volumes than the opinion of a random sub-1000 yard Raiders WR who no one cares about. Tell me when Jerry Porter actually breaks out rather than be constantly on the cusp.

So he's not as much of a cancer as a lot of people think. What r u smoking? LAy off that **** !! TO is not a team player simple as that. They asked Porter two months ago because the Raiders were thinking about adding TO. TO might not be a total cancer but he is a total ***hole. I think your bias because you still are in love with him. Yeah he's a great player but he's an ***. Micheal Jodan was comparable to TO except for the fact that Micheal Jordan was a man not a whiney little brat. There were alot of people who thought Jordan was arrogant and he was but not to the extent of TO. The only reason I compare the two is because they have unaturual talent. But Football is more of team sport than NBA basketball.

You are beyond all rational thought...the biggest homer ever. And Jerry Porter knows way more about TO than you do for the reasons Die Hard mentioned. If you don't believe that, then you are truly the dumbest poster on this board. :dunce:
bulldog
Owens tied himself to a ship that isn't constructed to win right away in 2006. he will ultimately get bored with looking up at the Redskins and Giants in the East and he will start to cause trouble for Parcells. this is what happens when you let the snake in the door, you get bitten
