Good thing Clinton Portis finally gets to recover from that neck and shoulder injury hes had since like week 7 or so or whenever Roy Williams horse collared him. Or maybe it was that other guy on the Eagles or horse collared him.

Roy's horse collared hurt him but Clinton did many otehr things that factored.

There were 2 games in which Clinton popped a defensive end... and although he laid them down, he got stingers and got hurt.

Clinton can block, but does he really have to? what do we have the offensive line for?

If somebody else signs Clemons, then we'll respond just like we did when Smoot left or when Pierce left, or now with Arrington leaving.

I'm confident WIlliams will make it work, and I'm confident that we'll approach Clemons with a respectful offer next year, if he doesn't take it - Ah Well, lets move on. There's no reason to break the bank on a situation that 'might' work.

Seeing as though this is being left open for KFFL updates, thought this was interesting as it relates to two former 'Skins.

Bills | Team in a fighting mood

Sat, 8 Apr 2006 14:41:30 -0700

Chris Brown, of BuffaloBills.com, reports Buffalo Bills players engaged in two fights at minicamp Saturday, April 8. S Matt Bowen and RB Lionel Gates got into it. Bowen facemasked Gates to the ground, but Gates appeared to shove Bowen's facemask up into his chin and nicked him. Three other players were needed to separate them. Meanwhile TE Robert Royal and DL Chris Kelsay got into a shoving match. After practice was over, head coach Dick Jauron spoke to the team and stated the need to discipline themselves. He said if something gets heated they have to have the discipline to walk away because they need everybody on this roster healthy, and beating each other up in the spring is not an option.

Does anyone think they could be a little pissed at being cut by the 'Skins and ending up in Buffalo?

Redskins | Wynn still mending; probably won't start

Sun, 9 Apr 2006 06:34:56 -0700

David Elfin, of the Washington Times, reports Washington Redskins DL Renaldo Wynn (arm) is still mending from the broken right forearm in suffered in the 2005 NFL playoffs. He can't do any weight room work on his upper body, which he typically spun as a positive "because it allows me to work more on my legs, and that's where your power comes from. My main goal is to be 100 percent for training camp." Redskins' director of sports medicine Bubba Tyer said Wynn's forearm is healing well and he could be on the field for minicamp in June. When Wynn returns to the field, he will probably find himself as a backup player now that the team has signed DE Andre Carter.

Redskins | Carter wishes to show versatility

Tue, 11 Apr 2006 13:04:52 -0700

During his introductory press conference newly signed Washington Redskins LB/DE Andre Carter stated one of the biggest reasons he signed with the Redskins is the the opportunity to play some defensive end. "I started out as a defensive lineman and then this last season I played outside linebacker," Carter said. "The Redskins saw me as a defensive end and I myself saw me as a defensive end."
