Tysons Corner Center will host the 2006 Redskins Cheerleaders Final Auditions on Saturday, April 8 from 1-3 p.m. ET in a show that is open to the public. Come out to Tysons Corner Center to watch firsthand what it takes to make the Redskins Cheeleaders squad!

It's the second year that the final auditions show is open to the public. Tysons Corner Center is located near the intersection of Routes 7 and 123 just off the Capital Beltway (I-495) in Tysons Corner, Va. The show will take place at the First Level-Fashion Court. Visit ShopTysons.com.

The auditions show will feature 60 finalists competing for the coveted 40 spots to become one of the "First Ladies of Football" in 2006.

"It's a chance for fans to get a behind-the-scenes look at what a professional audition is like and to also root for their favorite cheerleader," Redskins Cheerleaders Director-Choreographer Stephanie Jojokian said.

Each year, the Redskins Cheerleader staff strives to add new programs and raise the bar on the existing team to continue to be among the top cheerleading squads in the country, said Donald Wells, Director of Cheerleaders and Entertainment.

Cheerleader candidates will be judged on their appearance, performance in dance routines, ability to entertain and photogenic ability.

"We're looking for women who are beautiful, talented and well-spoken," Wells said.

Cheerleaders get the opportunity to perform at Redskins games, travel the world for appearances and participate in the annual swimsuit calendar photo shoot.

Also, the Redskins Cheerleaders have youth programs that include summer dance camps, Junior Redskins Cheerleaders and Junior Redskins All-Stars. For more information, click here.

Its been called Tyson's Corner for forever...why do you think they called the mall "Tyson's Corner Mall?"

Dang Hawaii...I expect some pictures from all you gentlemen attending this fine event!! :) Guess I'll have to meet my future Redskin-cheerleader wife next year. :(
