Air Force Cane
Not sure why it makes one cry still five years later, just watching the trailer is emotional...I am going to see it on opening day April 28.. http://www.flight93.net/index.php

Kurd Cudins
The fact that many in the news have said that they aren't ready for this really upsets me. This is reality. This is what happened. Why are peopleso afraid to confront that which makes them afraid? I would like to see a movie that encompasses ALL the events of that day, rather than just the one plane. Why are peopleso afraid to confront that which makes them afraid? I would like to see a movie that encompasses ALL the events of that day, rather than just the one plane. That would be hard...just because it would be more like a documentary. Anyone else think this film will get protests from Arabs
Air Force Cane
this movie from looking at the site does cover the entire day- at least as much as detailing the view from the air traffic controllers starting with the first WTC hit..so you will see all of the events in "real time".. Thanos
To be honest, I'm shocked it took this long.I fully expect a lsew of made for tv-movies in the next year or so.
Air Force Cane
Oliver Stone is doing one about the WTC and a trapped police officer (Nicholas Cage) and there is at least one other major studio film coming out as well..
TD_washingtonredskins
Anyone else think this film will get protests from Arabs It better not. That would be like British people protesting "The Patriot" or something like that. It's factual and does not represent every Arab.
Air Force Cane
but the Japanese DID protest the "Pearl Harbor" movie! they should have just been mad that Ben Affleck is such a bad actor
Mooka
Anyone else think this film will get protests from Arabs People always protest movies, no matter how serious or lame.Big Trouble in Little Chinatown got huge protests from the Chinese communities for various stereotyping... Cmon, pick your battles. That move is so damn rediculous.

herrmag
Not sure how I feel about Hollywood cashing in on September 11th. I think a documentary is more appropriate. The thought that someone is making tons and tons of money off this just irks me. Don't get me wrong, if I hear it is good, I'll probably see it. I just wish they would donate a good portion of the proceeds to something beneficial for everyone involved in the actual events, rather than just financing a producer's 15th home in Maui. Air Force Cane
1. Yes when you enter the site go to "Video" and then "trailer" and it will load automatically. 2. some of the profits of the movie ARE being donated to the Flight 93 Memorial in Shanksville, PA. It says that in the site as well as in the press they have done... if you watch the background video on the site they have interviews with the family members and they said that ALL 40 families wanted this movie to be made as it was. That is good enough for me!
Commander PK
Looks pretty intense to me. I'm sure it's going to be upsetting also, and people better prepare themselves before seeing this one.
Mooka
After watching the trailor I kinda see where everyone is coming from that's so against this film. Personally I think you should be able to make a movie about whatever you want. (If given permission in this case) Looks pretty intense. Plan on seeing it. All the "never forget" on the website is kinda annoying though. No one's forgotten.

Commander PK
I don't think anyone's "forgotten" 9/11. I just think many have forgotten what they "felt" like on 9/11. This film will probably remind many of their emotions on that day, and that's why I think some are bothered by the movie. They don't want to relive those feelings again... but I think it's important that we do. We need to be reminded of what can happen, so we stay vigilant to prevent a similar attack, or worse, from ever happening again.
