qcraftsman
First I say sorry for the LA thread!!! The mastermind Greg Williams knows all his players inside & out! So what does this mean for Lavar? It means the Skins have a huge advantage over him. If he signs with the G-girls or someone we have to play twice a year then Williams will obviously give all the advantages he can to Gibbs and Saunders. We all know Lavar doesn't have that many negatives on the field, but everyone has atleast one or a few to take advantage of when he will be out there. Do you think he can catch Moss or Randel El. Nope!!! Maybe Portis or Loyd, but what a great match up that will make. I 'd love to see Randy Thomas take LA straight on. ATOM BOMB!!!

MossFan89
i would love 4 us 2 face LA. that would b a great matchup. even better when we beat his team.
SnyderShrugged
I'm kind of indifferent to LaVar at this point. He holds the potential to have some stellar plays against our team, if he goes to the gints. Especially since he'll be playing with passion against his former team. But, I havnt seen the old Madman Lavar in quite a while so I think it will be tempered in the end
Truant
Kinda like how we own Antonio Pierce? </sarcasm>
SD Skins fan
I'd be worried about facing Lavar....remember an old, immobile QB who's career Lavar ended?? And who do we pin our hopes on this season?? An old, immobile QB.... Of course, for the Campbell lovers, that might be a good thing.

An old, immobile QB.... Of course, for the Campbell lovers, that might be a good thing. I have thought that very thing. He could really mess things up for us if he gets to Brunell but Brunell is way more mobile then Troy was. Not a fair comparison.
Maggio
Well, at least we wouldn't have to worry about Lavar giving our plays away to other teams...I don't think he can take his wrist band (with all the plays) to the Giants;) Hell, maybe we couldn't even put in a decoy, like one of the few plays he knew by heart and totally change it around...like the prevent defense. NWSkins
I am completely dumbfounded right now. Did you guys already forget that 36-0 blowout the giants handed to us last october? As far as i'm concerned, antonio pierce had the advantage over us in knowing our offensive and defensive mindset and that paved the way for their easy victory. Granted Pierce is a smart boy, but LaVar is no dummy either. LaVar will not know our offensive mindset because of Al Saunders, but he will definately know our defensive gameplan and style enough to not have a "disadvantage" when he plays us..... TheNewU
we can take advantage of him, but all it takes is for one play or one hit for him to make a difference
kevinklein
For me it's not a matter of fearing him when he plays against us. It's more of a personal thing. I like Lavar and I don't want to have to root against him.
TheSteve
I have thought that very thing. He could really mess things up for us if he gets to Brunell but Brunell is way more mobile then Troy was. Not a fair comparison. This is true. As old and immobile Brunell is compared to his youth, Aikman had knee braces on two knees and couldn't outrun my grandma to the sidelines. It was like a porsche and a beetle going 0-60 with him and Lavar races to the sidelines.
Renegade7
Anybody who believes just doing a stupid end-around or cutback will negate Lavar is kidding themselves big time. He wouldn't be going to the giants if he didn't feel he had something to prove. If Lavar doesn't end up in New York, he's going to become the true monster we all predicted he would be. I'm just being real here, Lavar is too talented and too pissed at us right now. It's not going to be easy going up against the giants, hell no. An old, immobile QB.... Of course, for the Campbell lovers, that might be a good thing. Yeah, the same immobile QB who scrambled 25 yards against the Cowboys to spark the amazing comeback rally. The same immobile QB who routinely runs rollout plays, and who has been criticized for not staying in the pocket enough. The same immobile QB who converted on a third down scramble with a busted knee to eventually set up a field goal against Tampa in the playoffs.
tr1
Does anyone think LaVar's emotions won't engulf him when he plays us to the point that when he tries to make the big play against us, he ends up giving us the big play... Bank on it.
Ax
**** LaVar! We played against Lawrence Taylor for years and still found a way to win some Super Bowls, and LaVar is no Taylor. Not even close.

Critz1407
I really don't like the fact of facing Lavar, he knows our packages on defense as much as know all about him. It would be emotional for him, and he may just have a huge game like that.
