SkinsD
I'm sure he want to start somewhere which he wouldn't here.
SaltySpice1028
Definitely too expensive. Also, Allen would want to be a starter and our starting o-line is set. Right now, we need depth that we can afford. And I always hate signing former Cowboys (see James Washington).
#1SkinsFan
too old, and wants to be a starter. He wouldn't be one here. BTW, shouldn't this be in the "Around the NFL" section? Just curious..................
skinfan2k
if he would accpet a backup role and maybe our goalline o-line man, i am up for the task. I bet u he could teach derrick dockery to be the next larry allen. Larry ALlen probably the best LG in the 1990s.
GOSKINS_08
He's not to old..I would like him here, but like already stated we already have our O-Line set.
atloldskin
Too expensive and too old. We need a younger guy that can play more than one position on the OL.
RDSKNfaithfull
He would be a upgrade over our weakest link. He would make Samules so much better as well.
shagman
I dont see Larry Allen being a Redskin but I wouldnt mind seeing him there. How much did he bench press last year? I forgot but it was crazy sight. The only reason I wouldnt want him isnt his age but hes a Cowboy. I still have a bitter taste from Deion Sanders (%#$@$*) I dont think we need him either even if we could afford him.:dallasuck

bulldog
Allen is 34, how many teams are going to offer him a starting job? He used to play both OG and OT earlier in his career in Dallas I wonder if he can still move out and play OT if called upon? My guess is that Allen may choose to retire if he doesn't get a deal he likes before the start of training camp. I disagree on the ex-Cowboys. Demetric Evans and Omar Stoutmire played well for the Redskins last year
Drex
I wouldn't be shocked at all to see him replace Hutchinson in Seattle.

skinfan2k
Nick Novak did well too after going to camp with Dallas. dont mention this punk's name again. I sick of it Nick Novak will be a marginal kicker in the league. He will only be a replacement kicker and i dont think has the pedigree to be a great kicker. Does not have a strong leg, bad kickoffs, low fg arch. come on
UltimateSkins
Allen is still one of the better guards around. He's probably good enough to make it into the starting lineup of at least 75% of the teams in this league when heatlhy.

RRick
Oh man that's a hard one, he would make the OL Incredible I think I would take him for a one year contract.
APBT
I'D take him but I think we should look to the draft for more depth. I am not sold on Dockery. He is just to big to be acting so soft. We need a mauler. We need a guy on our line who hands out whiplashes. The team also could use another pass rusher. Blitzing is fine, but I can imagine teams are going to copy what the Steelers did to Denver when they tried blitzing 90% of the time in that particular game. We need to effectively drop 7 or 8 into coverage while generating a pass rush.

Bangee7
I would take him in a minute. He's the one Cowboy I have always respected. He's one of the greatest OG the NFL has ever seen. Definitely the strongest ever.
