So much for the "American Home Team" Not only can you stand, and ridicule the STAR in Dallas Stadium, you can actually sign a contract for a cancer causing player to come back and play on that field. Hmm Jerry what is going on homer?

Tons of Skins fan would have done the same switch up if we had signed him. It goes both ways.

TO has amazing talent on the football field, if he can 'hold his breath' during the season and just play football, he can help them when some games. Of course, Bledsoe is going to have to run for his life behind that O-line.

GW knows how to shut TO down so I am not worried when we face the Brokebacks.

We will have more Sweepage in 06-07!

First sign of trouble they are gonna frag him like the ROTC guy from Animal House. (Remember the post movie scenes.) Owens will be the MOST HATED MAN in Dallas and will destroy the career of Tuna boy. This guy got in their grill on the frigging star. Now he's the toast of the town? This is going to be BEAUTIFUL. One good season then the family feud begins.

Jerry and the cowpokes are desperate, especially after we embarrassed em. i believe they're thinking 1 good yr out of him might be enough for a title. i dont see it with Bledsoe at QB. Rest of team isnt that great, except their D-line.

T.O. might behave and have 1 decent yr. but he will be bitter as hell if they dont go all the way, and the cancer will spread fast. remember he was starting his stuff after eagles were in SB. imagine what he will do when they dont even make playoffs.

my prediction is they go no better than 10-6 and miss playoffs, and T.O. goes off, and its eagles all over again.

QUOTE]

Finally someone tells the truth. If you had signed him all of you would be singing a different tune.

This is how I see it.................TO has always been hated by the cowboys. When we signed him, what do you expect us to say? We hate our team? Of course not, we have to support him. No different than when you signed Deion. You hated him, but when he signed on the dotted line, you had no choice but to root for him. We root for Colors in the NFL nowadays. I root for Silver and Blue, you root for Burgandy and Gold. Simple as that.

I for one never saw any posts where cowboys fans were bashing because you were interested in signing TO. So I don't know where you get that from. If there were such posts, then I bet it only 1 or 2 tops.

Here's my take on TO, and my bet is it would be the same from your point of view had you signed him.................

TO wanted to get paid. He signed a horrible contract with the Eagles, he knew it, tried to get it changed, and they laughed at him. So what does he do? He acts like a fool. No doubt about it. But he got what he wanted.....he got a new team with a new contract.

TO and Rosenhaus absolutely know this is the end of the road for TO. Rosenhause said 7 teams were very interested in him. I say BS. I bet nobody was interested besides us other than maybe a 1 year deal or something. THat tells me that TO and Rosenhause know without a shadow of a doubt this is it for him, if he acts up as a cowboy, he wouldn't be able to find work in the arena league. My guess is he is on his best behavior here until this contract is up.

If I'm wrong and he acts like a fool, we cut him. Because of the contract he signed, our cap affect will be minimal. And TO will be out of the league...

Thoughts..........??????

Actually I hated Deion, before and while he was here. I never cheered when he made a huge play. We also had a player our team last year that caused distractions over the years that I treated the same way, I think he was #56, not the first cheer from me after the contract screw up. Anyway I pull for the uniform not always the player inside, sure I have some favorite players as everyone does. You do not have to root for him just because he puts a Cowboys uniform on.

If TO was signed by the Redskins, I would never have gotten off my couch when he scored a TD.

Right, if he is cut after this year the Cowboys will take a 3.33 million dollar dead cap hit in 07.

If you really don't cheer for guys who you don't like that are on your team, then you are a rare exception. More power to you. I don't think I could do it.

i think any other fan of its team, would have done the same thing.

yeah the guys a headache but, the bottom line is, when hes on his game

hes probably the best reciever in the league, hes a game changer. so in reality

i would think any team that would have got him, would have been happy with

it. and a good chance of making it 2 the superbowl.

Its not to hard for me, as a Redskins fan with Joe Gibbs around there is not gonna be many unlikeable players on his team, not for long anyway. Gibbs wins with high character, quality football players. Thats not a knock on Parcells, he is a fantastic football coach, but he wins games with good and bad personalities, as he did in the past.

Blackistone from the Dallas morning News, as well as Marriotti RIP on TO to the cowpukes on Around the Horn.

Blackistone says TO won't be able to handle Parcells and vice versa. Also says that it doesn't help them because they are a rushing offense, and he says that Bledsoe sucks too much, and Keyshawn kept his mouth shut, but TO won't be able to.

Marriotti said that TO has no incentive to fly right because he was just given 10 mill after being a jackass and ruining two teams.

Thats the stuff I like to hear.

Yeah, cause Parcells has never handled attitudes before.........Lawrence Taylor, Bryan Cox, Keyshawn.......twice. I have a feeling he will be ok.

As far as not having no incentive.........did you not read my post? He has every incentive, cause this is the last stop for him if he doesn't act like a choir boy. Nobody wanted him except dallas now. If he burns this bridge, who in the world would touch him???? NOBODY. TO and Rosenhaus both know that.

He will be as harmless as a puppydog here.

You have the clown icon but I respect your opinion and the argument you bring. If Joe Gibbs wanted TO then the skins would have got him and we would have all put a diffrent spin on it so I dont fault the Cowboys fans for embracing him. The Bottom line is that the guy can play. I think pure talent wise he is the best in the NFL. Will that translate into good things for the boyz, time will tell. For me anyway, I would have rather had him sign outside of the East. All I can say is good luck to your organization with this move as I continue rooting on my Redskins.

You're right on here, this has been my contention since he was suspended from the iggles. That's exactly why my initial inclination would have been to welcome him in a Redskins uniform.

TO is a child. from a man, you may expect a proper reaction, but this guy is a Child. Go out and read his book Catch This!, it's written at a 3rd grade level. He is an idiot. The first time he doesn't get the ball from bledsoe when he thinks he should, he's gonna start jawing right in his face (a la McNabb). He's the scum of the NFL, he's uncoachable, and he's a terrible teammate. People as selfish as he is can't function in any facet of society.

I'd stand by my statement... if TO ever came to the Redskins, I wouldn't spend another minute rooting for the team until he was gone.

Too many people don't have any principles or integrity. It isn't just winning... it's HOW you win that counts to me.

Accepting that baggage for the sake of winning... to me at least, is despicable. I wish TO was out of the league right now. There'd be some justice in the world.
