DENVER (AP) - Free-agent defensive end Kenard Lang signed a three-year contract with the Denver Broncos on Friday.

Lang, a nine-year veteran and former first-round draft pick, played the last four years with the Cleveland Browns. In 16 games with the Browns last season, Lang had 43 tackles, two sacks and ranked third on the team with 10 pressures.

Lang has played in 138 regular-season games (101 starts), recording 528 tackles, 44 sacks, and three interceptions.

Ramsey will have as much if not more trouble than Pennington in New York with that bad to worse (thanks to free agency defections) offensive line. These guys are in major rebuilding mode, so we didn't do Ramsey any favors, but he wanted to do to a team where he had a chance to be a stater. How happy will he be if the Jets draft a QB in April?

you've got to be kidding. Lang was a horrible DE in DC. He was the starting DE in 1999 when the Skins were dead last in the NFC against the rush and finished among the poorest defenses overall in the NFL. He never lived up to his draft position here and it was only after Marty moved him inside to DT in 2001 that he started to show some grit and determination.

then he left with a big head in free agency to go to Cleveland crowing that the Redskins would regret letting him leave.

Well, four years later, I can honestly say that we didn't miss him one bit

Must you forget how pathetic the defensive line under Spurrier?
