Hmm...maybe Marshall does get moved to WLB, huh? I expect the 'Skins to draft a young guy to play MLB later if Cowart is signed. Cowart only has a few yrs left. He is a beast of a MLB'er if healthy though.

With the money the Skins always dish out....what agent would be stupid enough to have his client visit another team with a Redskins invite?

At this point i'm not sure he has much left, and I also don't think moving Marshal again is a serious option. The MLB especially in Williams' defense makes the playcalls and adjustments, thats the whole reason they moved him to begin with. They wanted someone who already knew the system. So moving him back for a band-aid replacements seems pointless

Isn't Cowart the one Ramsey ducked and Threw the bomb to Coles in the Season opener a few years back? Or was it Slowmo Lewis? Both of them run like a 5 flat these days

It was Lewis that Ramsey ducked but more importantly it was Cowart that Ramsey outran for the big 25 yard gain and a huge 1st down late in the game.

This guy makes Warrick Holdman look like a great athlete.

NO, NO, NO, NO, NO, NO, NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Forget moving Lemar back outside, he knows the defense too well. I think we should go after this guy as an outside LB.

Nick Greisen | LBs6038.jpgFull Name: Nick Greisen

Born: August 10, 1979Sturgeon Bay, WI

Height: 6-1

Weight: 245 lbs.

Insider Analysis in.gifGrade68Expert's TakeGreisen is a downhill outside linebacker who has excellent instincts for the position. He is a physical player who is very active and around the ball. He has an excellent motor, plays hard and has enough speed to make plays from sideline to sideline. He is better against the run than he against the pass and is used mostly on run downs. He has good recognition skills and can key and diagnose plays quickly. He has good overall athletic ability, foot speed and lateral movement. He is technique sound. He does not take false steps, takes good angles to the ball and plays with good knee bend and leverage. He uses his hands to shed blockers and seldom gets caught up in traffic. He did a nice job coming off the edge on his blitzes. He has good quickness and will make tackles redirect. He is a good tackler, is explosive at contact and does a good job of finishing off the ball carrier. However, Greisen lacks good overall pass coverage skills. He does not have good top-end speed and is a lot quicker than he is fast. He is decent in zone coverage, but when matched up man to man on fast running backs, he struggles to keep up and does not have a good closing burst. He does not have great size and strength and will get engulfed by bigger offensive linemen at times. Overall, Greisen is a good football player. He is very instinctive, consistent and productive player. He has upgraded his game to become a good starter and playmaker.
