cfcrider
Why on earth wouldn't they put Campbell in that spot? http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2006/football/nfl/03/14/redskins.collins.ap/index.html

Warhead36
Does it matter who the #2 QB is before St. Patrick's Day?
Sailskipper
They are idiots. Campbell will be the #2 to prepare him for the starting position. You dont draft a first round QB to leave him as a #3...that would be insane. :dallasuck :eaglesuck :gaintsuck
refuze
Stop with this non-sense. Nothing is set until mini-camp and training camp start.
OVCChairman
That doesnt mean anything with Joe Gibbs. The only reason they said this was to let people make thier depth charts. It isnt even the preseason yet.....

SaltySpice1028
I guess they wanted a veteran who knew the offense to backup Brunell in case he gets injured. As Wilbon pointed out, it's extremely hard to win in the playoffs with a very young QB. We'll see what happens in training camp and how quickly Campbell can pick up this offense.
