@DCGoldPants
They released Collins, lost out on Culpepper. Weren't really going after Brees. Any reason this can't be happening?
rvan1
cuz we want Abraham, im thinking....

illone
They may give the young gunslinger Andrew Walter a shot. Who knows with the Raiders?
bobzmuda
Probably because Oakland is now trying how to figure out to get from #7 to #2 to get Matt Leinart.
ntotoro
Why aren't we focusing on sending Ramsey to Oakland now? Maybe because they have no interest in him... ?
rictus58
The Raiders will not go after Leinart. They will take Ramsey, they will send us a #3 pick.
PotomacSkinsFan
they're looking at leinart, young and cutler now.
Drex
I think the Raiders could end up with Aaron Brooks, who should be released by the Saints after today's Drew Brees signing.
Guest amaprius
Tell the raiders that we will send our #2 over for their first and third round picks and they will probably do it....then send Ramsey over Raiders think "gullible" isnt in the dictionary

@DCGoldPants
I guess I should ask about the offense they'll run in Oakland.
kingdaddy
Ramsey would be a good fit for Oakland. They just don't know it. He has the "vertical" type of arm that they're looking for. And, a receiver like Moss and even Porter, could really make him look good. I'm with you on this one, they are desperate to get a guy with NFL experience to get the ball to their two high priced receivers. Maybe they're gonna go after Kitna, or Aaron Brooks. rictus58
Who is Minnesota going to get? They are going to stick with Johnson. I forsee them going after Brooks.
azmodeus13
the raiders and brooks deserve each other I have never been all that impressed with brooks... I still think there may be a possibility of a deal for Ramsey - Abraham... it's been all too quiet on both those fronts lately

McMetal
Well, with Brees, Culpepper, and now Kitna off the market, the Jets better suck it up and just give us a better offer, or Oakland WILL get him. Those cheap aholes better quit stalling or they will be left with nothing.
Die Hard
Who knows with the Raiders? That's just the bottom line. It's a logical fit. But Al Davis isn't known to be logical.

Fergasun
Brooks and B. Johnson are both pretty old, and Brooks has had enough time to show he's no better than K. Collins. Ramsey just hasn't gotten to play enough recently to show that he's a bum... which is why we can't give him up for more than a 4th.

rictus58
Oakland could still trade for Ramsey AND draft a Qb *coughcutlercough*. It would allow them some time to prep a rookie to start.
