smitty71
Do you think we might as well try and trade our pick in the second RD and Ramsey for Abraham or do we draft a corner with the pick? At this point I feel we should use it in a trade for Abraham with something else.
fdarugar
I'd def. package it with Ramsey for Abraham...if you think about it what are you giving up? an unknown QB prospect and an unknown draft pick for a proven DLinemen.
terpfan
I'd still rather sign Carter and draft a CB in the second round. Abraham is older than Carter and probably more expensive also.

elkabong82
If we can get Carter, that would be the best choice since we would keep the draft pick and have a guy who can perform at two positions where we need the most help on D. However, I would love to see Abraham, and if the Skins are going to make a move for him, i trust it's the the right move. Probably would take Ramsey, Round 2 pick, and either Betts or Patten to get the deal done. If we get Carter or Abraham, our D is going to be scary, especially w/ the addition of Archuleta already. EnFoRcEr_uPu
I'd be willing to do that if and only if it involved us getting Abraham. Other than that I think it'd be in our best interest to just draft a young guy and mold him into a GW DE.

Abraham for a 2nd and Ramsey?!? OF COURSE! Who can we get in the 2nd round to play like Abraham? Ramsey is gone anyway. So HELL YEAH.
PotomacSkinsFan
whatever they do, they do. I'd like to draft in that spot, but if it's required for an abraham deal then I think we should make the deal.
AJ_Skins
I get the feeling Abraham could be a headache, and I'm not sure how we can afford to pay him. Could end up being another LaVar situation where we're overpaying for a name that doesn't want to be part of the team. Carter sounds better, but who knows. I think we should sign Carter, draft a CB or OL in the 2nd round and trade Ramsey for a 5th pick this year and a conditional pick in 2007. I would like Abraham, but unless the coaches think he can come in and have 10 sacks a year, I think this is the better way to go.

bschurm
Ok I just searched for this info on espn.com and couldn't find and I'm not about to join insiders when their inside info is usally here pretty much as soon as they post it. Anyway, I apologize in advance for not having the link, I am computer illiterate. While browsing the cowpukes site to get a good laugh at how concerned they are with our FA pickups, I came across a thread regarding a rumor. It suggested that Abraham is visiting us and that the terms of a trade involving Ramsey are as follows: Ramsey and next year's #1 from us for Abraham and this year's # 3 from the Jets. I don't know how true this is, but that sounds like a pretty good deal.
bmw2301
WE need Abraham bad, we need to do whatever to get him.. We can get a CB later in the draft and get a vet from Free agency. We could also let Ryan Clark play some CB.
TheBeast36
IF, and that's a big, we can land Andre Carter then I want to keep the pick and add depth. But if the Broncos really do like Carter as much as they are now saying then I would definately package our 2nd and Ramsey for Abraham. Just my opinion. And two straight years without one makes me upset BUT Abraham is a stud and the 3rd rounder offered is fairly decent. I don't know... I am torn! :2cents:
sacase
Ummm....You guys realize that it would take two frist rounders to get him right? The jets already offered you guys a 7th rounder for him, that's it. I don't think you have aenough draft picks to get him, unless you safrifice all od this year and part of next years draft. You only have 1 first day pick.
